Didn't they already do this?
This is going to be dumb and make some of the book canon null and void right?

Yes, we've all seen it and can tell you with absolute certainty that this is the case.

Well it just seems that Lucas has something against the books, Take Boba Fetts new back story for example.

I'm not going to defend Lucas, but there's no way he should be bound by the EU.

That said, a lot of it is better than everything after the original trilogy.

I just saw some clips of it at www.starwars.com
It looks pretty stupid. It's got that awkward voice acting thing most 3D films suffer from.
My blawgh.

Yeah, usual bad animation and stupid looking models. Also the textures were bad? That's pretty sad for a CG movie though, if you ask me. Let me put it this way. If that was trailer for a game, I wouldn't be excited.

While I won't defend my grammer as being correct, I'm pretty sure "Couldn't've" isn't actually a word. So your post was pointless.

All the prequels were pretty much computer animated anyway. At least they aren't trying to trick us this time into thinking its an actual "film".

But it seems it is better suited for direct-to-video or television special. I mean, I just don't see this as theater material. Whatever.
