Are you, um, filming your son using your computer?

I'm contemplating using the camcorder as a webcam. It's connected and I have some trial software installed but I don't have any means to test it because I don't know anyone who regularly uses a webcam. I referenced this in a couple previous threads.



That's because I had a serious interest in this particular thread (so much so that I might have started it myself). However, in general, I was long ago burned out on the lengthy philosophical, political, and intellectual discussions that can happen on a forum like this. There was a period in my life when that was an excellent diversion for me. Hell, the tail end of that was probably around the time that I became a "regular" poster here. I don't know if the forum still contains threads that far back.
