Adult Humor Written into KOTOR?
2004-08-01, 10:53 PM #1
I've played through the game numerous times, but never noticed something I now find really funny.

On Taris, when you have your first match in the dueling ring in the cantina, you fight a guy named Gerlon Twofingers. The game leads you to believe his name comes from him only having two fingers on each hand, but if you say the name slowly, you get "Girl on two fingers." Now, I really find it hard to believe it's a coincidence, and am required to give props to the writers.

Has anyone else noticed anything in the game like this?

I always thought the name for that droid "HK47" was a little too familar sounding. I haven't played kotor yet so I wouldn't know much about what you are talking about.

Seems like a sexual joke to me. Really lame one though.

AK47, perhaps? It close enough, and rather matches HK's peronality.

Ok, so the blokes over at Bioware probably had a good chuckle by making this name. And it's something to get worked over how?

The original releases DO have adult subliminal messages in them, I'm not saying they all do, or all the rumors are true, But there is more then 1

But don't forget the Lion King with the word "sex" written in the dust.

And as far as the KotR game goes, if that's the only adult reference, then I would consider it an accidnet. I have a game saved on my friend's X-Box and my character's name is Hung Wei Lo.

We watched that scene at least fifty times in class back in junior high, NONE of us could find the word "sex" in the dust. It's just not there.

I said there were two still undetermined. They're debating whether it actually says "SEX," or "SFX," or anything at all.

Odd because I found it the first time I watched the scene, after I was told where it was. I originally was looking at the clouds itself.

The game was already funny on its own. Some of the stuff you can say to Bastilla were funny. I think one of them was "I'm a Hutt in human form plotting to take over the galaxy."

As for adult humor, someone said that they had a conversation like this during their playthrough.
Me- You never did tell me why you came with me...
Jolee- I just wanted to get somewhere new.
Me- Where?
Jolee- To bed! I'm old you know!

There was one, on the original VHS box of the little merimaid, one of the golden towers in the background was shaped like male genitals.

[edit]I see someone linked to something stating that was false. meh, looks pretty wrong to me still.

Ya... the Little Mermaid has several things in it. Namely the spire. There's also the excited priest during the wedding.

Just because snopes.com says it's true doesnt make it true. I still believe that some they were drawn in like that intentionally. But who cares? Do any of us still watch these films?

Yeah I heard that one too. Someone supposedly committed suicide (was Depression and all) and their carcass was seen in the original releases.

The Wizard of Oz guy was in fact a bird. In order to make the movie more realistic, they borrowed animals from from the LA zoo to make it look like it was in fact shot outside. Some of the animals were birds. The thing in the tree was a bird.
