Getting back into the political side of things.
I'm not going to take sides, I'll just say what happened.
My alliance has been mad about being kicked out for awhile, and I've had some angst over being stuck in hi-sec. Possibly I'm being a little harsh. What I said is the position/attitude of everyone in my alliance ventrillo.
I'll admit, my alliance exec and co exec put towers in 3 detorid systems to claim sov, left htem there for 2 weeks, goon didn't complain, so, corporations started slowly dropping more towers and we moved in. After awhile we informed RA and goon, and they didn't complain about anything for a long while. We had hte occasional goon member question us being there coming through, but no leaders. We even fought with some goons to kill isk farmers, since we were all blue and isk selling = bad.
Around the time we hit sov 3, an alliance member thought he was making a statement by killing another alliance member about some random issue(they were into lowsec pirateing, we'd had lots of confrontations with them) and his corp got kicked from the alliance. The person who got killed didn't do anything, he was just a randomly chosen person to die because this guy got mad at the alliance for something I can't remember. He apparantly had a few connections in goon and 'potentially' talked about us in a less than positive way. Regardless of if this is true or not, goon contacted my alliance exec shortly after asking "why are you here." and over the next week they discussed it.
Goon told us to get out within a week. (well, they said leave or we'll set you neutral) My exec got them to extend it to a month, but we were out within a week. We had like 15 towers and most of our active alliance out there. At this time, AAA had decided to take out C3.
We were in KOS's intel channel so we were well aware of their situation every step of the way.
Anyway, we couldn't go back to KOS space, so we had no place to go except a *blank alliance* station. It was almost always a safe route so we started moving all our ships without escorting anyone. Then RA attacked 2 of our haulers over a 24 hour timespan. my co exec said that he talked to goon and RA and got them to reset our standings back to blue till the end of the month. We were of the impression that goon told RA to set us neutral or red.
(and we've been blue to RA for awhile, even docked in their stations, one being the closest one to our space, quite often)
So all our stuff, billions of stuff, is sitting in a *blankalliance* station. (and *blankalliance* did an alliance standings reset since, which we've been struggling to fix)
And my alliance has pretty much been trying to restructure / reform. We heard promises of a major pvp alliance joining us that my exec has a character in with friends in his in Real Life. THis has gone sour though. Apparently because CPP decided to screw up a manufacturing job of his, AKA domination large tower, and after petitioning he only got the BPC, not the tower or mins used in production. This is after a 3-month long petition, and his BPC/job is/was in C3, now owned by AAA, anyway. He got screwed despite that fact, and is trying to escalate it.
Long and short of it is, co-exec quit, and now the exec wants to quit because he's mad at CPP, so probably no influx of pvp players to our alliance.
I should mention that the co-exec and exec are also members of my corp, both of whom I've been playing with before and after I took an 8 month break and came back last summer. I've gone from empire to 0.0 and back with them. Now I've got a fairly empty corp, with few active members.
My alliance has hit the pits :P. We recently lost 2 carriers in lowsec and have to rebuild those too.

So that being said,
I spend my time doing market orders, mining, or baiting peeps and waiting for something to happen.
This game was really fun for the 4 months we lived in KOS space, but considering my alliance is in such a standstill I either need a new direction, or I'm actually considering quitting for some undetermined amount of time.
