And by 'Meatfortress' I mean 'Team Fortress' and by 'Tourney' I mean 'at least one Massassi game'. I will update this post with relevant information.

I think I know a 26-player server where we might be able to play (and get admin access to change the level/ban people and whatnot) but I just wanted to gauge the interest. If you're up for it, post the times you can play and I'll try to figure out a time where everyone or at least most people can log on.

I'll use the Steam thinger page to make an event for our Steam thinger group. (edit - I did this!)

For the record, the Steam event is tentatively scheduled for May 31st. That date doesn't really have anything to do with reality, I just wanted to post an event on our steam page and it looked like you had to input a date on the form. We'll sort out the time in this thread.

Yeah, I logged in to our steam page and posted an event. I posted it for May 31st at 12:00 pm but that time doesn't mean anything, really - I just wanted to get people's attention and direct them here so we can figure out a time to play.

I thought I'd get a better turnout, though. I guess I miscalculated on how many people own TF2 or I'm just behind the times in my videogames or somthing...

To be honest guys, I wish we could get this many people for CS:S.

Sure, CS is fun. I'm on a bit of a TF2 streak at the moment, but I'll throw down in some office or whatever. I might even be able to get a server...I'll see if my brother still runs one.

This would also let me get the "play with seven friends" achievement. Whoo.

Also, remember to post what times you are available...I mean, I take it by 'Europe friendly' you mean you don't want to be up playing at 4 am, but try to give me an idea of when you can come.

I wish you could reset stats. All the medic cheating I did messed up my stats big time.

Maybe the achievements shouldn't be nigh impossible to do on a normal server? I don't think a single person with all of the medic items got them through normal play.

Define normal play? There's using a map specifically made for stat boosting, and then there's simply asking the Heavy you're about to uber to punch things instead of shoot things. Plenty of people did the latter.
