Some great stuff in this thread. I stopped reading CAD for a while because it really seemed to lack inspiration; and as many have noted the format never changes. Not to say that, say, PA doesn't stay the same, but they are focused solely on the gags. No story to be found, just a punchline. Usually tends to work more than the former, as far as web comics go.

MT has slowly been turning into a nonsensical semi-romantic train wreck of obscure plot points @_@

I stopped reading MT long ago after they seemed to have forgotten their initial premise of "need money to buy plane tickets out of America" and went on talking about characters that didn't seem to be relevant at all.

Oh, and I stopped reading CAD because Ethan's character became tiresome, and I didn't really care what happened more and more.

IMO it's doing a lot better than it was previously, especially since the reappearance of Rent-A-Zilla.

I used to read Sluggy Freelance until he added so many story threads that every line of dialogue was a reference to like 5 other things that happened 3 years ago

Also: Bert died

Bert died a long time before that. He just wasn't the same without his crotch.

Yeah.

Luckily there's always Order of the Stick. Even if the sporadic updates are from bull's arse.

I actually liked the story arcs involving space stations and taking over the world, but even in the middle of those the dailies still get some good punchlines in there.
