Dude what?

I've had some pretty decent free phones THAT GET THE SAME SIGNAL as every other phone.

just ordered a Palm Centro with the $30/mo plan. We'll see how it works..

I've had a few free phones, and they all suck. Free phones work great if you spend most of your life within 10-15 miles of a big city. Some of us live where there are no street lights or that ugly orange glow in the sky at night.

Im not saying ALL free phones suck, but the ones I have had, were terrible.

Anyway, it says $60 gets you 150 weekday minutes, UL evenings and weekends (from 9 pm to 7 am, weak), 400 mb data (yeah), visual voicemail, and access to Rogers and Fido hotspots. If you want call display, you're forced into a $15 or $20 bundle. The $20 bundle also makes evenings start at 6 PM instead of 9 PM.

There are other options if you want more data, those plans are $75 for 750 MB, $100 for 1 GB, or $115 for 2 GB. Each more expensive plan also has more weekday minutes and text messages, for what it's worth.

Anyway, it's a total ****ing ripoff and I'm done with Rogers for life.
