Things that break your heart
2008-06-28, 5:58 PM #41
I'm busy!

I have no heart, so this thread is clearly moot for me :P

No, seeing someone do something wrong where they know it's their own fault and that makes them feel even worse, and they can't escape the situation. Especially when they're not crying - because you know they're fighting it.

I'm sure there are plenty of less random/obscure things that break my heart, but that's the one that comes to mind right now
Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

I really can't get heartbroken anymore. I know, :emo: n' ****. But, I just get angry. The aforementioned examples posted about dip**** behavior just gets me angry instead of making me feel sad.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

When qui-gon died.

That was pretty intense as an 11 year old.

The stark inequalities in the world, mostly caused, as Ruthven said, by those with financial and political power in developed countries.

War, and the virtual non-existence of coverage relating to the loss of innocent life, in comparison with wall to wall reporting of the deaths of those who volunteered to fight, simply because they are of the same nationality as those running the news corporations

This makes absolutely no sense to anyone that hasn't seen the movie wall*e but is totally inappropriate in this thread anyway and should be deleted.

Yes but someone not expecting a spoiler to wall*e in a completely unrelated thread might not appreciate your post. You should edit the post.

The Life Aquatic.

It's one of my favorite movies ever. I absolutely love it. I always get choked up at the part where everyone on Jacqueline Deep Search puts a hand on Stevesy's back after they find the shark, followed by Ned's funeral at sea...

Ugh such an awesome movie.
