Are there enough doctor who fans here?

one, I think the kiss after the whisper was a bloody big hint to what he said.

And two, leaving a companion is hardly something new. Hell, leaving a companion with which there was considdered to be a lot of romantic subtones in an alternate univere isnt even a new thing for dr who, as he left Romana II in E-space in the fourth doctor's tenure.

Also, Donna is hardly the most ugly companion that the doctor has ever had. Even then, there have been far more annoying companions in the past.

(I realy wish that people that became fans during the new show would make a basic effort to look up the history of the show, I mean, the dr who wiki has summeries of all of the original's serials, heck, so does the BBC website)

Somewhere between my posting and your replying you assumed I was a dumb***. At least that's the way it came across to me.

1) Of course the whisper was a hint, but they weren't about to say the words on-screen, which I assumed they did to poke a little fun at those that were wanting a relationship.

2) I didn't say anything about leaving a companion being new thing to me or otherwise. I was just hoping Rose would sign back on as companion for the next season - I've liked her best of the new companions.

3) I didn't say Donna was the ugliest. She's just not as nice as Martha.

4) "I really wish people" wouldn't jump my case for things I didn't say. And I have looked at the Doctor Who entry in wikipedia a few times over the past week, but I have not read the whole thing. Not that it matters. I used to watch the show when I was a kid and Tom Baker was the Doctor.
