If you didn't already hate Fox...

Just to add, Fox is also making the Wolverine Origins more "family friendly." They also left Babylon AD's director Mathieu Kassovitz and star Vin Diesel rather unhappy.

It's only really over-rated by fanboy nerds, nobody else really cares much at all about it. But, yeah, Fox screwed up when they picked it up over Dark Angel. Dark Angel's second season was quite mediocre but I could stare at Jessica Alba week after week...

Pretty much everyone I've shown the series to has loved it, and this is people of all walks of life.
Most of which aren't even into sci fi..

Apparently you never saw Cowboy Bebop. Its made of win. Even for, esentially, a cartoon.

Cowboy Bebop is bounty hunters in space. Also, every planet they go to isn't the old west. Firefly was like watching ST:TOS all over again, except instead of mob bosses it was spacemen with six shooters.

That's cool. Like I said, I enjoyed it and it would have been cool if it lasted longer but it flopped and the movie flopped. It's doubtful that we'll ever see any live action continuation of the franchise and nobody really cares (except for fanboy nerds). That's all I'm saying.

Commercial success is never any indicator of quality (again, see Wanted). Capitalism does nothing for art.
