That kind of tracked tank (with some minor modifications) was how I got through most of the first page of puzzles.

I've dissected those overly complex catapults. Just add more wheels to make them throw farther.

Yeah, er. That was an example of how to build a catapult. It wasn't a failed solution.
2008-09-02, 10:11 PM #97
Heh, sorry didn't mean to imply it was a failure. I was more commenting on how much more powerful the catapult with 2 wheels was. And that I was surprised that a brute force method (throw the ball) could win that one so easily

anyway... here's a new version to the down under swinging rope...

Actually after basing it off of JM's armadillo design, my stair contraption disposes of the balls and makes its climb rather quickly in comparasion to others I've seen. Aside from that friggen tank, that thing is awesome.

well, it looks like I was successful in destroying people's productivity for a few days :D

that site came up during the summer school I was at in fermilab, at one time I think there was probably about 10-15 of us playing it on our laptops during the talks...and it all started from one guy (not me but a mate of mine).

gotta use all those computers for something....and doing (sometimes) complicated flash physics sounds fine to me :eng101:

Higher is really best solved with something like this.

I'm now dedicated to finding solution that not only put the piece in the goal; but make it stay there such that if you ran it forever it would never leave the goal.

Doesn't stay in the goal. You're going to need to fling a holder and the piece to do that in awash.

For pure efficiency, rolling away takes 0 additional pieces.

Not if you factor time into efficiency. :)

Junkyard? I was working on tube. It starts out kind of slow... but. Make sure you click 'back' real quick after it makes it, it's worth it.
