By the way, interesting tidbits...

Benjamin Franklin was known to smoke hash in France all the time. He also ran one of ran a paper mill that processed hemp. Turns out Ben Franklin was a total pimp (illegitimate sons, apparently some encounters while he was in France, not to mention I know I read like a "guide" to women he once wrote if one were to choose not to marry).

Washington and Jefferson also grew cannabis plants on their plantations, all the time. In fact, Washington or Jefferson (forgot which) wrote a letter instructing his people to soak and dry the female plants several times over. The only reason one would do that is to ensure more THC in those plants (there's no real reason for doing it otherwise). This would ensure more buds, and buds are ONLY used for smoking. I bet Washington smoked all the time.

"Burke asserted that Washington & Jefferson were said to exchange smoking blends as personal gifts. Washington reportedly preferred a pipe full of "the leaves of hemp" to alcohol, & wrote in his diaries that he enjoyed the fragrance of hemp flowers. Madison once remarked that hemp gave him insight to create a new & democratic nation. Monroe, creator of the Monroe Doctrine, began smoking it as Ambassador to France & continued to the age of 73. Burke. "Pot & Presidents." in Green Egg. CA. June 21, 1975"

Yeah, this is almost as offensive as you insinuating Tony Stark was gay because he had a goatee, when you in fact rock a very village people mustache.

Hahaha, what, when did that happen?

In one of the Iron Man movie threads he said something like "Why did he give him a goatee, it made him look like a gay guy!" Or something like that. Despite, like I said, rocking a village people mustache and thereby having the gayest variety of facial hair.

No they wouldn't. Stop retroactively idealizing them.

I don't believe that Massassi can engage in censorship but that is merely because of my belief that none of us have any rights to be heard at massassi. MB did in fact edit the post in the manner that it should have originally been presented and if it would have been I would never have bothered to post at all. Emon knowingly posted in a flagrant manner with complete disregard for the rules. That is why I suggested deletion and banning. I am just as happy with MB's edit to his post.

No, he didn't, and that is why he isn't banned, and why you're a drama queen. Please grow up and don't tell me how to run Massassi, you are hardly qualified to do so.

So, we do we have a ban on pictures with swearing around here anyway? It's not like any of us are twelve, and swearing usually isn't that offensive in today's society.

Although it is kind of nice to see lazy rants frustrated by the swear filter.

I disagree with the first sentence, and so did every other poster that encouraged him to edit his post before MB did it for him. The second sentence just goes to show that even you and I do have something in common.

I certainly was trolling but I would not have had the legitimacy to do so had Emon followed forum rules, albeit selectively enforced forum rules.

Yes they would've? They idealized a society in which nobody was censored, everyone could be themselves, and everyone could do as they want as long as nobody imposed on anyone else's right to be heard. There are extremes to either side of the definition of what someone else's "right to be heard" is, and that is where you see bush on one side (protest zones? Seriously? **** off.) and on the other side (the most obvious example being people who hack sites and spread a message via said hacked site, a la Anonymous et al).

However, at times, both may be necessary, but it's unfair and improper for any one person to be in charge of a decision either way.

I simply jump at any opportunity I can to throw something he says to me back at him in a disparaging way. I actually believe he is a good person and appreciate his stepping up to take over the site. That doesn't mean I'm going to let perfectly good opportunities to make an *** out of myself slip by unused.

There's no legitimate trolling. Also, bull****. The no-swearing-in-images rule isn't well-known because it rarely comes into play.

dude, it was hardly an good comeback, as he was telling you off for telling him what to do, and also, fighting with a website owner is not a very smart move.

Also, did you just say that you like making an *** out of yourself? do you even know what that means?

here is a hint, it means that you make yourself look like a complete idiot who's oppion probably isnt worth listening to.
