Today is going to be a good day.

I woke up this morning, checked my email, and looked upon the horizon of today with terror. I felt terror like a marble statue as it gazes upon a hundred beaches worth of seagulls.

But now, today is turning around. I fixed a fairly problem with Campus Safety (I work tech support)'s computer system that they've been having since April.

And I feel f******* fantastic.

I'm going to go stuff my face full of food and swing dance for two hours outside (it's a beautiful day).

My day felt a bit doogy (it was dark when I woke up) and though its going to be another boring Friday. But when I got to work I forgot that my supervisor is still on holiday, which pleases everybody (he's a right grump) and we actully got all of work done for once before 3.30 when we finished. Then sat in the sun waiting for the bus. Pretty good day if you ask me :).

Today is going to be a good day. I just heard back from Lockheed Martin about a co-op opportunity. :awesome: They sent me a candidate pre-screen form, and I suspect the e-mail is boilerplate, but it's exciting nonetheless. I thought for sure they would throw me aside because of my low GPA.

Today is only good because it's friday... unless you have to work tomorrow, like me.

I thought it was going to be a fairly lackluster day, but then I got a call from the military, saying I should hear from them within a few weeks about getting sworn-in and a date for basic training. Looks like my life won't be stagnant for much longer. :)

Today has been good and bad, all because of a dream where my life is better so it makes me feel bad, but the dream was so good that it also makes me feel good thinking about it.

I can't wait for the day schools get the money they need, and the military has to hold bake sales to afford bombs.

Depends. Are you a short, stocky, dark-haired dude who's really rude to his girlfriend?

Today sucked. My parents were being really pissy today so i sorta blew up at them, punching walls and kicking doors... it was a bad scene. I really really hate idiots.

I have this thing, where if someone asks me to do something, and I reply saying that I will do it, and then 2 minutes later they come back with some smartass sarcastic response saying i haven't done it yet, it really boils my blood. They disappear out to the shop to work on a project they have out there when i only live there 50% of the time, and come back 5 hours later *****ing and moaning that I never went out to help. Ok, you could try asking me to help?? Usually that's how things are done. When you go off and work and dont ask for any help, people usually assume that means you don't need the damn help. Once again, I hate idiots.
DO NOT WANT.

Not to sound like a jackass, but that is a pretty pathetic reason to start up a ruckus.

Eh... it's a long going thing... i do feel pretty guilty now. everyone does have their meltdowns occasionally, you know. I guess this was mine. but hey thanks for calling me pathetic for having emotion every once in a while! :downs:

[EDIT: I just realized that posting anything involving emotions on the internet will make Rob leap right now my throat, so here's a jolly, pre-emptive 'f*** you!' to him. :)]

The sun is out today. That means its going to be a nice day from where Im sitting :). Going out to get a) a birthday card for dad, b) a new mobile and c) lots of other stuff too. Hopefully my favourite footie team (Norwich City) can top it off by winning as well :)

Hooyah, what branch?

Also, yesterday was ok, but TODAY is going to be awesome. I'm spending the day with my fiancée. :D

Yesterday was awesome. I'm going to start a thread as soon as the pictures are developed (which means as soon as I get them off of my friend's memory card). I juggled torches, spun firepoi, and spun firestaff. SO awesome.

Then unexpected fun yesterday: The MINUTE (literally) I got home, I got a call from Campus Safety that one of their primary computer systems was broken (I had JUST fixed it today). So I biked up there, fixed it, and then hung out for three hours. I came back home, and then remembered they were talking about being hungry... so I grilled them some chicken breasts and made them some jelly sandwiches. Ended up going to bed at 3.

Today is going to be a good day too. Yesterday (during my first visit to Campus Safety) I got an email about a casting opportunity for a local Parkour commercial. I'm going there in two hours. Should be fun! This is my first paid commercial gig, I can't wait!

I'm going to be a Signal Operator in the army, so I'll be dealing with all things communications related. Also, I should point out that this is the Canadian military. Small but proud!

You know, happydud, I had a friend who did the sort of stuff in high school that you do. That is, he didn't do parkour, but he did do publicity stunts and the such in parks, like juggling torches. He was really good at it, too. After high school, he simply went to california and joined the circus! Idk about you, but that sounds pretty damn awesome to me. Just, uh, thought you'd find that interesting. :P

A friend of mine got me and my roommate comp tickets to see him in a show he's doing at a local professional theater. They were matinée tickets, we thought it was for the evening. Consequently, we missed his show and I feel like crap :(

I'm sitting in my house, awaiting any word from friends on whether I'm doing anything tonight (highly doubt it). Meanwhile mom's partying it up.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Went to the lake with a few buddies, grilled some burgers and brats, kicked around a soccer ball, threw around a frisbee, played some guitar, and walked down to the lake to watch the sunset (missed it by 5 mins). Pretty good afternoon. Now I'm gonna chillax, play Deus Ex (so good... I keep fearing that it's close to the end, but it keeps going on and on and I'm really glad about that :)), and maybe snag some food lat0r if I'm feeling gluttonous. :D

I got back from a stupid chipping assignment today, which included working my days off (I've had all of three days off the last month).
