How about the anti-christ? xD

I'm voting for Emperor (Sith Lord) Obama.

There would be incredible irony if he was revealed as the anti christ lol

You fool! The answer is so very obvious! There is only one entity whose chosen tagline is "CHANGE!"...

I saw someone make a comment about an "uninformed" voter above (i think regarding The Lost One's comment, which yeah, was pretty retarded). In my experience, Obama supporters that I've talked to more often than not have been abso-****in-lutely clueless with issues, but are still voting for him because he "STANDS FOR CHANGE!!!! CHANGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!". That worries me, to say the least. I personally don't think anything will happen just beacuse it's the nature of government not to get anything done, but the extent to which people follow him without knowning anything about him other than it's "trendy" to stand for change is scary.
Right... and I've seen Republicans convince themselves that Alaska's physical proximity to Russia somehow imbued Sarah Palin with foreign policy experience. Talk about blindly following. Not to mention the GOP's VP candidate is "abso-****in-lutely clueless with issues."

That blade cuts both ways, man.

Yeah! They don't know anything about Bush's incredible successes, like... uh... or... um, wait... I thought of one: the national do-not-call list is pretty awesome. Thanks, Bush!

Of course it does. I didn't say it was only Obama supporters that did. My point was that you have Obama supporters, that strictly are voting for a word, "Change". You can ask them about anything, and they have no clue, but because the word "Change" is plastered all over city posts and is being yelled at them from a megaphone over street bridges (like I was today. I was told that "Obama loves you and will change your life!!!...if you vote for him". Seriously, over megaphone).

It's one thing to be stupid and vote for someone due to misguided policies or politics and convince yourself it's true (like your Alaska/Russia example). You can apply that to anyone. One might think that Palin does have foreign policy experience (for whatever reason), and will vote for that ticket. They may be right, they may be wrong, but they'll vote for them regardless. Stuff like "Does Palin have foreign policy experience?" are completely normative, value/belief driven questions.

It's a whole other level of stupid when you vote for someone because he "stands for change" and that's all you know. That is what is dangerous. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing Obama here at all. I know what he wants to do, and I know he has direction and drive. Problem is many of his supporters in my experience have no clue about the drive or direction.

This has been bugging for awhile now. Obama is running to be president; Palin is not. I'm not at all surprised that Palin doesn't know what the vice president does, because the vice president doesn't actually do anything. Palin shouldn't be judged on the same scale, because she's not the one who will be in charge.

And don't get me wrong, either, though I know you will. I'm not a Republican, and I won't vote for them either.

Also, to show blind devotion on both sides (which again, I acknowledge, but seem to place more on the Obama side), this is a video that made me really weep for tomorrow's election....And for god's sake watch the whole damn video before you say "OH HES ONLY POINTING OUT BAD THINGS FOR OBAMA LULZ"

That video is ****ing stupid.

It's not "bad stuff about Obama supporters and (a) McCain supporter," it's 4 single instances that they cherrypicked from probably dozens to make for sensationalist radio. If you go around asking leading questions to everybody, of course you're going to get the responses you want from some people.

It's utter rubbish.

1. Those aren't leading questions. A leading question would be "Do you support the murdering of babies while they are in the womb?". Those questions were purely tests to actually see if you know what the **** your candidate stands for. And if you actually did, you damn well should've said "Um.....that's not right". These were SIMPLE, simple questions. Like, if you've watched one debate, or seen one commercial, you'd know that the question-master was ****ing with you.

2. Really? You think this is something that is isolated? Take a trip to Madison, WI, start asking Obama supporters (and if you can find them, McCain supporters) and you will see. Multiply that across the country. Hell, just going down my dorm room hall I can name 5 people already that don't know what each candidate stands for (3 Obama, 2 McCain). Not just me saying that, it's actually them believing in that ****, being called out on it, and being completely embarassed. That's 5 out of only 40 people.

3. And apparnetly if it is isolated, the point remains. These are people voting. These are people who (apparently if their vote matters like everyone seems to scream at me everyday) are deciding the leader of the country. My point is proven regardless.
