Wrath of the Lich King is out!

Bought it last night around 2 when I got off work, havn't had a chance to play much of it though. Wanted the collectors edition, but they didn't have any :/

If selling that game makes your net worth increase by 100 or 200 percent, you should probably reevaluate some of your career choices.

I got up to 71 last night, me and some guildies burned through some instances and ran some quests together, only took about 3 hours. It helped that I was in the beta and knew how to get around and such. The only disappointment is the gear so far, but I guess I can't ask for much since we're a KJ guild.

I love the look and feel of northrend, but I feel bad to those who are going to Borean Tundra first, as opposed to Howling Fjord.

From what I understand, unlike BC, all your hard earned gear from T6/KJ raiding is going to last you into Naxx

But yeah, hopefully I'll be able to pull down a couple hundred for this, waiting to see how ebay prices fluctuate. I'll probably pick up wow again at some point, and when I hit 60 I'll pick up BC, and when I hit 70 I'll pick up wrath.

I'm watching my coworker play. Luckily today is really slow. We just flew around as a deathknight on an ice dragon killing crusaders. How metal is that?

Which kind of sucks, because it makes doing instances and getting quest rewards boring.

I agree with you. It also doesn't give a chance for those who were behind in BC raiding to be up to par with everyone going into Wrath raiding. Some will be ready for Naxx right off the bat, while others will have to go through the lon process of gearing up.

Yeah, we're going to be running naxx soon (with an influx of new recruits, no doubt). The gear discrepancy is going to be tough on us.

I played WoW for ~3 years and ever since I quit over a year and a half ago(does that math add up?), I can't remember what was so appealing about the game. I've tried restarting it a couple times, but I just can't help getting incredibly bored. Wrath didn't even spark the tiniest amount of interest in me, even with some of the new PvP aspects thrown in, which is surprising since I'm a PvP whore. :(

i played for ~11 hours straight yesterday, finally got to 71. word is that the queue to log in was over an hour at one point in the evening.
ran utgarde keep, and nexus; both were pretty cool. other than that just been doing lots and lots of quests. at 4am when i got 71 i made a break for dalaran and got the attunement. after exploring dalaran, which i admit is pretty cool, i had to sleep.
