Also.. I've run every pre 80 instance (As a healer I don't need to be at the correct level).
Utgarde Keep -- Lame instance. Boring on the outside, boring on the inside. Heaps of enemies that don't do anything, with boring bosses and lame loot. The final boss makes up for an actual challenge by just being cheap, constantly stunning and silencing to make healing an impossibility. Beat it once to complete the quests, going back once to get my heroic achievement, never going back.
The Nexus -- Cool instnace, I love the architecture, and can't wait to see more of it in the oculus and in Malygos' Lair. Varying enemies and tactics, and plenty of freedom to make your own way around.
Azjol-Nerub -- I like the layout of this place, but it's a bit buggy (PUN DEFINITELY INTENDED). Due to the layout (3 trash packs next to each other, followed by the boss), you'll often accidently pull 2+ trash packs, which can be difficult for even a t6 tank / healer combo (Pulling all 3 is certain death). I also think that killing Anub'Arak so early into the expansion was lame, considering that he was as powerful as powerful as arthas was, and the two of them took down an entity as strong as C'Thun by themselves, but is taken out by 5 people with relative ease. I'm hoping they bring him back (reundead him)
The Old Kingdom -- Amazing instance. The sense of scale is unparalled by anything else. Cool enemies, awesome bosses (Last boss is my favorite boss in WOTLK so far), lots of different things to keep track of for a healer (Diseases, poisons, physical DOTS, direct damage, spells). Lots of variety (A Nerubian with tons of adds, a prince with crazy magical spells, a twilight shaman that can hit like a truck.. culminating in a faceless one... so awesome)
Drak'Tharon Keep -- Another cool instance, but lacking some difficulty. King Drek and the troll beserker were pushovers, the final boss is gimmicky. I really liked the Lich fight though. Some variety in trash, but nothing to exciting. The architecture is cool, and I love the final overlook of Grizzly Hills.
Violet Hold -- Laaaaaame. It's the Medivh COT instance all over again, except with less movement and less exciting trash. It's obscenely monotonous, with no architecture at all (It's just a single boring room). The 1st and 2nd bosses are cool, and add some variety, but are ultimately pretty easy. The final boss is just a lame tank and spank, which doesn't seem befitting of a huge *** dragon (Make it interesting like Azuregos or Nefarian.. jeez)
Gundurk (Or whatever.. the one in the troll place) -- Fun instance with cool bosses and lots of interesting architecture. This is where I felt sort of out of place, I never got this far on the beta servers, I was just tagging along with some higher leveled guildies.
The Halls of.. stone? Maybe Lightning? -- Amazing instance, and the I love the storm peaks. I'm glad that Blizz is finally addressing the story behind the dwarves and the titans. They've teased at it constantly since day 1, but always left it unfulfilled. Until Now.... awesome fights against titans and dwarves.. so much fun.
Now I'm just going to be questing til 80. We tried our team pushing into CoT: Strat, but got our asses handed to us pretty badly. (Myself, the hunter, and the tank were all 72, warlock was 74, Ret Pally was 74). The fact that we can take on a 77-79 instance at that level is pretty disapointing though.. I'm hoping for more challenge in heroics and 25 mans.
