the 14 yr olds... they flock to me.

(How's that for a thread title.)

So the other day I got a text message on my phone from a number I didn't recognize. I texted back and met this young lady, Michelle. I spent the next couple hours chatting back and forth with her, and found out that she is in fact 14 years old. >.>

No worries, my intentions are perfectly innocent. I'm not some kind of nasty sexual predator, and will never request to meet her in person, but I found the whole thing ironic, what with my supposed reputation for wooing young girls with Hannah Montana. And I thought the rest of you may find the story amusing.

Thus I ask, what is it about me that seems to attract 14 yr old girls to me? Am I some sort of 14-yr-old-girl-magnet? Did I miss my calling as a pedophile? :|

So you're a Navy personal, engaged with a woman and occasionally connect with 14 year olds.

You seem to be the type to test and experience new territory in life. Truly a admirable quality.

1) maybe. She won't get anywhere.

2) nope. I already use about 6 to 8 thousand txt msgs a month. I doubt they would go through any further trouble.

I've never had a wrong number on my cell except maybe twice in my whole life. A friend however is a magnet to wrong numbers. You know how you can send cell phone credits to other cells? Well twice he's had a stranger send him cell phone credits on accident. LUCKY mofo!
Nothing to see here, move along.

In many countries, like Mexico, it's common for most people to use pay-as-you-go plans for their cell phones. So you have x minutes and when you run out, you can go to the grocery store and get a card with a code that "fills up" your phone/account with more minutes. You can also send credit to other people.

Haha you guys are funny. To answer the question above, she texted my phone # thinking I was someone else. This sort of thing happens all the time for me. Though usually, its a phone call.

And yes. 6 to 8 thousand. I know its a lot. But consider that I have no computer with me here at "A" school. That means I communicate through SMS as an alternative to IMing. (I also spend more time txting people than talking on the phone, cause that way I can have 2 or more conversations at once.)

Oh also, last night Michelle hinted that she's doing drugs and that she wants to quit but she doesn't think she can. I may have an oppurtunity to do some good here. :)

I think I'll tell her, "Drugs are bad, mmmk?"
