Ah, okay. I just thought that was a key missing part of the story.

See if you can score some drugs from her.

You should all sudden change personalities and be like "Oh man my friend had my phone for a week he's a pedo he didn't touch you, did he?"

You probably shouldn't keep in contact with little girls.

No kidding. Once you found out she was 14, that should have been the end of it.

Haha @ posts. But to be honest, if I were that girl's dad, I'd get pretty anxious if I found out she's hanging out with a much older dude. But then, my own daughter's going to be born next month, so you can call me prejudiced. :)

Heh, well she's not "hanging out" with me. I'd be a little concerned with that myself. I get where you're coming from though.

But then, I'm harmless. I'm not going to try and arrange a meeting. I'm not flirting with her. I'm just listening to her and treating her like a person. (Nothing new today, btw. I didn't talk to her at ll, cause I wanted to think about how to handle this drug thing.)

Well if she is just smoking pot once in a while it's not that big of a deal but if she's shooting heroin tell her to get checked into a rehab.
2008-12-07, 7:34 PM #52
Umm... I'm not sure what to think of it. I'm 18 and I don't talk to anyone under the age of 15, unless its a relative or a relative of a friend, and I wouldn't flirt with anyone under the age of 16.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Or take everything with a grain of salt. Some 13-14 year old girls would tell you anything to grab your attention. Not saying that this particular girl is like that, of course, but might be a good idea to keep that thought in the back of your head.

I'm sorry buddy, but if you routinely talk to minors, and by minor I mean little kid and you have to ask a message board full of perverts and losers if you might be doing something wrong chances are you should just :suicide:

1) I don't "routinely talk to minors." There was an event on Stickam a few months ago where a 14 yr old scene girl came into my room and I streamed a hannah montana song for her as a joke. It was seen by a couple members of Massassi and I was made fun of for it by the community. That's where the whole "reputation" comes from. You weren't around back then, so I don't blame you for not knowing.
2) I never asked for advice on the morality of it. Personally I don't think there's anything morally wrong with being a friend to and mentoring a person several years younger than you, regardless of gender, as long as its done appropriately. If you disagree, then that's fine, but I'm not asking you to be my moral compass.
3) if you're reccomending suicide to people you don't know on the internet, perhaps you should take your own advice... Especially considering the recent news event that made that an issue.

And...

4) it kinda sounds like I'm coming down on you a bit hard, but I'm not trying to. Just explaining myself (and 3 was kind of a joke, just pointing out an irony there), so I hope you don't take me too seriously and get mad.

Anyway, I'm gonna text her later this afternoon and we'll see what happens. I'll let you all know.

For the record, I don't condone *any* drug use, whether it be heroin or weed. I've heard the arguments, I even used to smoke weed on occaision, but a drug is a drug. And I've seen lives messed up over marijuanna (sp?) just as much as any other drug.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

You don't even talk to them? So, like, if you were stuck in an elevator for eight hours with a terrified little kid, you wouldn't even say hi?

She seems to be ok. Talked to her briefly last night, but I fell asleep mid-conversation cause she's 2 hours ahead of me and it was getting late.
