Whats the difference between: 'politely not messaging her back' AND 'rudely not messaging her back'?

The first girl who asks me out, should it ever happen, I will give some kind of "Congratulations, you're our first customer!" prize.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

lol the computer IT pimp?

Sorry, I'm just trying to figure out how in the world any vagina isn't up to the standards of a nerdy tech admin..:P:)

Perspective. The one getting the calls always thinks its polite to not respond, while the one trying to reach the other person considers it rude.

I asked a girl out last week at a bar. I'd known her for a little while (she was working off and on for the same place I do) and really, really enjoyed her company whenever I'd had the pleasure of being around her. Unfortunately this ended in an upset girl and me having a dramatic argument outside the bar about how she wasn't ready to move on from her ex-fiancé and why everything had to be about sex and how she didn't want aforementioned sex to wreck a friendship. Naturally this was in front of a window through which the group we were with had a damned good view. I think that's me off the horse for a while.

I'm stealing that for use in my offline circle of friends, where I will give you no credit whatsoever.

The other week I noticed a teacher at one of the schools I manage ( I’m a network admin) had left a message on both my facebook and myspace account asking if I was the same guy who visits her school. I politely didn't message her back. Then on the following Friday some one at work said she called and left a message for me to call her. I began to worry. Starting to lightly think of the idea she had which came to fruition I was overcome with a feeling of sexual uneasiness.

The following week as I did my usual rounds I noticed a request from her to fix something in her room. I went to her room, resolved the problem and left. Nothing happened. I was happy. Argh but then it happened, she approached me later while I was at my desk and popped the question "do you want to go out sometime". With out giving my self any time to think I said "Hey I already have a gal, but thanks for the offer" and double pistol gunned her with my fingers. The whole thing makes me feel gross because from observation she was obviously not my type at all. I hate attracting woman who are not equal to my persona. :psyduck:

Share your bad experiences of been asked on a date.

Anyone who uses the double pistol gunned thing seriously has serious issues...

Every single day I have to decline propositions from dozens of hot sorority girls. In person, on Facebook, in text messages from unknown numbers... I don't even know how they get my phone number. "No," I say, "I need to go study."

It's a real burden.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

You poor baby.
DO NOT WANT.

That's nothing. I'm having fun harassing some idiot man by posing as a hot sorority girl and constantly calling and texting him. Sooner or later I'm going to get his credit card info.

Way back in the day, when this website 'facethejury' existed. I met some chick from there, she was pretty hot. But she always talked about her 'gay' friend from Minnesota (which later she had a kid with and married)... but in fact I ended up hooking up with her friend and we dated for almost 2 years.

Impressive. I once dated some girl over the web when I was 13 or so. Then I found out she was fat and stopped talking to her. Its ok to be shallow!

I had to close my eHarmony and Match.com accounts because of the aforementioned sorority girls. :(

When I first met Steven he asked me out. I told him I wasn't gay, he said he wasn't either, but that I would come around.

I'm picking on him because he's not here to defend himself

I've got/had 1 girl friend in all (unless you count me at 11 years old, which doesn't count.)

Still with her, been 3 years. The only experience I can think of is that I attracted 2 girls to me, which led to one thing and then to another, and almost destroyed what I had.

Anyway, all is good now and I couldn't be happier :D

PS: A horrible experience is your misspelling of experience.

Depends on what you mean with online dating.
I never went to any dating site, but I met my current girlfriend through my blog. We'll move together next year. :awesome:

My aunt met her current husband, a cool British guy, through an online dating service.
Sorry for the lousy German

One of my best friends found a quality bloke on one, and so did a friend of Izzy's.

I don't know about Izzy's friend, but my friend used match.com
