The class is titled digital photography- I haven't found the course description for this one (ARTS 540)..just for the old class:

Quote:
ARTS 515 Introduction to Photography
This course is designed to give the novice
photographer the "hands on" skills to successfully
create and interpret photographic images. The
course is structured to help the student master
the technical tools of photography, at the same
time that emphasis is also placed on the student's
ability to perceive and understand the world
visually and artistically. Students develop the
ability to critique their own work and that of
others. This course also looks at the unique
place of photography within the context of other
art forms, such as painting, cinema, music and
literature.

I imagine it's similar to the above class, but with a focus on digital cameras? The old course required a 35mm or a DSLR with a manual mode..hopefully I'll learn spiffy stuff to do with my D40.

My school is dumb too. I had finished registering for classes before the hour was over that registration was open. However, I never got a bill from them. So without telling me they forgot to send me a bill, my classes were cancled. Due to non payment. When I tried to register several days into classes after wondering why I was not on any of the class attendance sheets, they were all full.
Luckily I worked something out to allow me to keep my classes. I just signed up for other times, and worked something out with the professors that will still give me a grade. Schools are stupid, yea.
