I don't know if I should buy this game right now or not. It's something I been wanting to play, but I won't be able to play it until I have my new laptop next month. Additionally, I already preordered Killzone 2. Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5 are also just around the corner.

I rarely buy new games. I always wait for them to go into to the $20 range. So I'm picking this up.

I recommend, Cloud. First reason, is that it has been a $50 purchase since it came out. It is fun as hell, especially if you got 3 other friends to play with.

I still need to fill out information that my dad carries to be able to set up a paypal account.

Grr, this sucks. I have the money in my wallet, but there's no way to pay them with it! They need some form of electronic proof that I can pay them. :argh:
DO NOT WANT.

NO!!!!!!!!!!

I can't use my bank card because of some "breach" or something at some vendor that works for my bank or something.

I can't order it :(

No, I have nothing. I've always just used my parents' credit card when I needed it and paid them with my own money. I probably should get one... At least when I have a job or go to college. :smith:

You can definitely pay for Paypal for Steam games. I recall paying $0.99 with my bank account for Half Life back in November. Somehow I"m still on the fence with this. $24.99 is definitely a nice price, but I would like to have a physical copy and I won't be playing the game awhile if I buy it right now.
2009-02-14, 9:27 PM #27
Cloud, as soon as you purchase, you can download at any time. This helps when reformating and such. All you need is to install steam, put in your account and download them again.
obviously you've never been able to harness the power of cleavage...

I understand where Cloud is coming from wanting a physical copy, but at half price for the digital download ya can't beat it! For 49.99 I would of picked it up at Wal Mart or something.

But anyway, my sister doesn't bank with the same people I do so I just used her card to order it.

My Steam ID is Spectrael, I'd like to play with someone here. I just got it so I'll suck but I need to learn the ropes :D.

I'm also in the Massassi group on steam.

I suck too <_< so far I'm the only person in my group to never have made it through a campaign without dying at least once (excluding bots because they're stupid)

Are people here playing this on the 360 or on the PC mostly?

I've been considering getting the 360 version but if I end up not having folks to play with I wont bother.

Since buying a 360 I've finally come to the conclusion that [apart from a few such as timesplitters] console shooters are awful.
nope.
2009-02-16, 12:39 PM #39
I never play online FPS on consoles. Racing games and such, sure. But if I could get a mouse + keyboard setup over controller, I'd do it.

360 controllers are the best when it comes to fps though.
Best besides mouse and keyboard of course =p
