I don't think I've ever done one of these before. But I'm sure we have car enthusiasts here. In what do you navigate our highways and biways? Bonus points for any aftermarket mods.

Gotta keep it clean!

I have more mods I want to do to it. New rims, new exhaust, rear sway bar. Undecided on any engine mods. I'm going more custom than performance.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Correct. This is a fixed gear for riding on a velodrome. No freewheeling, all the time the wheels are turning your feet are going round in the pedals too.
Slowing down to a stop takes a little while, as does starting off from a dead stop. If you had brakes on these bikes whilst riding on the velodrome there'd be way more crashes.
Good fun though, as long as you don't get knocked off by other amateurs.

Haha, unfortunately it's not mine. It needs a new transmission in it anyway. The stock transmission's pretty crappy in it and it really can't handle the 350 that's in it now.

Sound right. The body style indicated it was at least a '79. Only real difference in the later years were increasingly lower HP motors.

A 454 and 4 speed should fit right down in there. :D

My friend took that as he was trying to overtake me as we raced down the Great Alpine Rd. One of the best drives of my life, even with my transmission overheating on the way up and brakes overheating on the way down. Good times :D

Well I dished out $1,000 to mom this morning to help pay for...everything. So this puts a sizable delay in future car work. I hadn't fully recovered from the $800 I gave her almost a month ago so this hurts even worse. Even the financially smart (i.e. not thousands in debt) cannot escape this economy.

Haha, it's got a brand new 350 in it. Came stock with a 305, and that just wasn't enough. A 454 would be nice, but a bit more costly.
