I knew it would be fruitless to post anything here.

FYI they're foose wheels, actually designed for muscle cars. And they're 18's so they're not "drug dealer" rims.

I don't know anyone who has a "matching" CD player. They don't make faceplate decks in black last time I checked there genious.

As for the music, hit pause, stop crying, end of story.

If I wanted your website to make noise I would have licked my finger and rubbed it across my monitor.

That looks like a fixed gear, so no brakes. You don't need them.

Not MY car, same model. I don't have any pictures of the RSX because I hate it.

18's could still be drug dealer rims >_>

To be fair, the actual car was pretty good looking. The Rims weren't.

Just 'hitting pause' doesn't work by the way, because if i tried to look at the image gallery it kept turning the song back on :suicide:

Yup, looks like it. I remember James saying he got it a while back. It's his first bike. What size engine is my question.

Around 600cc.

They're de-tuned CBR600's without fairings.

Newest one's engine is based off the 2007 RR engine.
2009-03-02, 8:18 AM #59
crap and I didn't think I'd get anything bigger than 250cc on my first bike
2009-03-02, 8:19 AM #60
They make a Hornet 250.

They're actually pretty quick for small bikes.
2009-03-02, 8:20 AM #61
How are resell values for hornets (namely 250?)

Reason I keep thinking kawasaki ninja 250 is the resell value stays around $3000. Which is nice.
2009-03-02, 8:23 AM #62
Dunno, they don't ship the damn things here. :(
2009-03-02, 8:24 AM #63
Well damn. I need a street bike that holds a value of about $3000 and resells easily for just as much
2009-03-02, 8:25 AM #64
Why don't you just go buy a used bike and ride it?

That's odd, the same time the last thread was posted about cars I told about how mine was wrecked. Funny that this time it's in the shop for the same thing, some dumb high school kid backed into me while I was at a gas station. Upon hitting me, he just kept backing up and crunched my car some more.

? I fail to see any correlation between a Fusion and a CTS other than size.

Nice to see 3rd gen f-bodies represented here on Massassi.

Rebuilt this car from the ground up.

5.7l V8, plenty of other goodies.

Measured 27mpg highway before somebody tries to "go there".

It's going in for paint this spring.

That's the one, 2007 Hornet, it's apparently 599cc, but none the less they call it the CB600F Hornet,

I've had it since the middle of October 2008, my first bike, rode it out to Geneva, go to and from CERN each day on it, it's bloody awesome.

Almost no bike has the exact displacement of the model number.

Infact, a lot of bikes don't even have their advertised displacement. But we're talking differences of .01 of a mm.

The cool thing about Japanese bikes is that the pistons and sleeves are designed so that there are between 3-6 oversizes you can go to. So when you reach the mythical 50,000 mi rebuild (no one keeps bikes this long anymore) you can hone out to next oversize if you need to. BAM.

Aye, I only heard good things about the bike not only from a bunch of reviews I read but also the place where I learnt to ride (a race track). Thought it best to ask people who had actually been on the bike than just reviews.

Most of the instructors had all had Hornets at some point in their lives, loved them to bits, a few had even ridden the 2007 model and said it would do me good for years even if just moderately looked after.

Not sure whether I'd ever get round to clocking up 50k mi on the bike (unlikely), but you never know :P my brother + a few of his mates, all ride bikes, they also do a bunch of rebuilds of cars and bikes in their spare time so I may get my hands involved in doing what you've mentioned when I get back, who knows.

First things first, I'm doing the "best road in the world" in May and then back to the UK with it.

While not my ride, I passed one of these on the interstate on my way home from work today, and I just had to share its hideousness.
