Wonderful Jep! You're totally right. The argument "it's just a little pot" is rediculous, and if they get caught and charged by the police, so be it. They know its illegal, and its not your fault they're dumb enough to do it in a neighborhood.

You need to take care of yourself and your property. Call the cops and let them take care of the situation.

i would call the cops even if they are "just smoking a little weed" really if you smoke weed i dont care one bit. i have done it before myself however if you are smoking right out front of my house YOU obviously dont care about any potential risk you might be putting me in. and if theres even a slight hint they might be dealing, then cops immediately. again if you wanna smoke go for it, just do it on your own property, not in front of mine.

I called the cops a few days ago.

They pulled them over for over an hour and a half and I didn't see what happened after that, but they haven't been back. It almost looked like they let them go. *shrug*

I don't think they know what house it came from.

Nothing wrong with smoking a little weed now and then, but theres a time and a place.
Picking some house at random(?) to smoke in front of over and over again isn't too bright.

Had I called the cops, army trucks would have drove up and surrounded the area. Searched every house in the nearby area. Beat up the kids, after firing at their vehicle first. Then the news would come in and helicopters would be flying over and over. My whole family would call and say, "did you know what happened in your neighborhood?"...

Then the kids would be let go of in a couple days when their rich parents pay up with the right people. The news would be forgotten and that would be the end of the story.
Nothing to see here, move along.

I guess I'm just too prude/old fashioned/not, but people commiting illegal acts on my property or in front of it would really bother me. Sure they could be some kids smoking a joint and having fun. But you only have to be wrong once. And if something happens on Veger's property, he's going to take the fall just like the fools doing it.

He has the right to protect his property. They're infriging. They're in the wrong. He should go to the police and let the professionals deal with it.

If a cop did come by and they threw the stash on my lawn, I'd be pissed.

I'd call the cops for sure. I don't want to get framed, and if someone goes ape-****, they'll fight it out on my lawn. Then I'm off for questioning.

Or they'll get bold and try to rob my place.

Either way, not safe. Glad you called it in. Now they'll think twice about where they deal.
