Happy Birthday Massassi.

What is it, 11 years now?

In spirit of the day, share some memories.

I think I've only been here for 7 years, which makes me feel relatively not old because I remember like 2-3 years ago when people were saying they'd been here for 7 years already.

I found massassi for the first time when I was little more than a 13 year old brat.

I've grown into a mighty fine 24 year old jerk.

Here's to another lively decade of massassian delight.

That's a stupid amount of years.

I lurked since 2002, joined in 2004. Ahhh, I remember the zone days.

Honestly, I've never had a multi-player experience like it since.

Wow closing in on 8 years. And I remember thinking how long some people had been here in 2002 when Caitian Tourist announced that he had been here for 2 years. Sane!

The real irony is I was at TACC first, and we had a blast poking fun at Massassi's "uncultured barbarism". And now the TACC forums are gone, and I'm here. Grrr ugh ugh grunt.

Since I started posting here, I've finished Middle School, High School, and graduated with a degree from college. Meanwhile, the Temple keeps chugging on. Well done lads.

I miss the days before JO and JA -- when JK was the **** -- and everyone was popping out levels, mods, and skins every other day.

Because the forums had to be pruned back then, there are none of those Pugler threads left. However, this Editor's Corner page was left intact.

And I still remember seeing that on the forums in real time! Times!

Speaking of pruning, most people around here don't have their first posts intact because they posted on the Discussion Forum. Whereas I didn't even know we had a Discussion Forum until like January 2002 so my first threads are forever available for people to see.

Good grief! :suicide:

It'll be close to 10 years for me, as I jumped on the Massassi forums in the early summer of 1999, shortly before they switched over their forum system.

Of course, some of my earliest threads can still be found on the ISB, which hasn't been pruned either. Ah, back in the days when the ISB had lots of posting...

I also remember one of the longer running threads back in the day was an attempt to get a Massassian Skin Pack made. I'm sure now it's not that long of a thread, but back then, I was all "wow, that's a lot of pages!"
