...this is a Star Wars forum. lol.

The way I feel about Pixar movies is that they aren't movies for kids, they're movies that are clean and inoffensive that anyone can enjoy regardless how old they are.

PS: The only Pixar movie I didn't care for was Cars.

Agree with this post. I love taking my kids to see these movies because they are clean.

Before the prequels, star wars wasn't so dumbed down for the kiddies, you know. (Except perhaps for RotJ).

Another Manly McManson shuns good storytelling just because everyone can enjoy it.
You're why Family Guy stays on the air and Futurama gets cancelled.

I haven't seen fully Monster Inc, Nemo, Wall-E, Madagascar 2 (own madagascar 1), Cars (rented it, turn it off after the first few mins) and I haven't heard of "Up" till this thread.

The only thing that looks interesting to me is Wall-E and Madagascar 2.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Madagascar is not Pixar.

No, I was indicating that that particular post was full of fail to an unusual degree, than that his posts usually weren't.

No, it was a miscarriage. You don't build an entire nursery BEFORE getting pregnant.

On the other hand they seemed to have the impression that they would never have kids, after the doctor's visit. It could be they just assumed they would be able to have a kid. A miscarriage doesn't mean you'll never end up having kids.

Because each of those movies only[/i] caters to children and has messages that only[/i] they would take value from :downswords: :neckbeard:

Its traumatic to have a miscarriage, I can imagine they wouldn't want to try again after that.

Also, they usually have a subtle, giant logo that shows at the beginning of each of their movies.

I really liked The Incredibles. My wife didn't want to watch Wall-E with me though because "it's about stupid robots." Never really had the time to sit down and watch it on my own.

PS. Her favorite band of all time is Pantera if that tells you anything. :)

Thing about Pixar movies is that you can really only go and see them with lady friends. I went to see Up with some of my male compatriots and felt pretty self-conscious (because it looks p. gay).
