That game is originally from the SNES. It rocked for sure, but it's not a recent development.

This is not true. Yoshi's Island DS was originally titled Yoshi's Island 2, it's a direct sequel, and a completely new game.

Oh blah. I played the demo and I must have missed something because I was completely underwhelmed.

The demo was only world one, which had the simplest and easiest time mechanic. Each world had its own method of manipulating time to solve the puzzles with increasingly levels of brainhurtyness, yet they could all be solved logically and without guesswork. The final level was also a work of genius, the twist totally blindsided me.

That said, I never played the demo, I went straight for the full game. I can imagine I would have found world one underwhelming if that's all I'd played.

Seriously, get Braid.

Aw crap. WTF seriously? Why the hell would they take super mario 64, rename it to super mario 64 DS and release it, and then make a whole new game and call it yoshi's island DS? I've been thinking all this time it's just another re-release like they did with every 2d zelda, every mario up through 64, etc. *sigh*

Nintendo didn't make Yoshi's Island DS, it was made by Artoon.

demo of what?

n+ is great but you can play it for free on your computer. seems like a much better portable title (ds and psp, psp moreso than the ds) which is probably why they put it on the portables. i also wanna know how desktop tower defense for the ds panned out
