Force Unleashed: Sith Edition Announced for PC and Mac

He's partially right. There were a lot of games with mods or even just levels. After 2000 mods really picked up. Without them, the game wouldn't have lasted more than 3-4 years.

Still more than months or a year.

The Force Unleashed was an entirely enjoyable game, even though it was extremely easy and somewhat lacking in the intelligence department. I don't quite see how multiplayer would work out; the ability to be far more powerful than one's adversaries is what made the game fun. This would not be possible in multiplay, and if it were somehow included, would throw off the basic dynamic of the game.

I never finished the game, and found it to get much less enjoyable towards the end. I died once against the Emperor and never felt inclined to give it another go.

Yeah, that fight was irritating. Once I'd figured you could use the force blast/push thingy to get rid of whatever he was juggling/electrifying to throw at you it became MUCH easier. You smack those out of his juggling act, he goes a bit spazzy, you beat him up a little bit. Rinse and repeat.

I've stayed away from TFU novels, comics and stuff hoping it would get ported, in spite of the popular opinion it wouldn't. Lego Star Wars was a port, and turned out good enough (eventually after enough patches. heh.).

So, am I understanding it correctly that the PC version will not only have TFU, but also have all the downloadable content as well as this new Sith stuff?

I believe you are correct except that the way I read it it will be released for PC, XBox 360, PS3 with possibly the Hoth level being exclusive to the PC. Hence my earlier post about this just being a port of an updated re-release.

I'm excited. Hopefully with the exclusive content they'll make it not just a port

The Hoth level isn't exclusive to the PC.

I hope not but I guess it doesn't matter too much. I was just thinking that I would be somewhat annoyed if it wasn't included in the 360 release after I pick it up.
