I used to get that in Vista in some games, it was the sidebar. If you have that, shut it off.

Doesn't fix it, the flickering is still present on the top left of the screen.

We could at least simplify with a link to JKHub for editing, a link to the levels section, a few articles about getting the new patch from JKHub, maybe some other articles highlighting the top 5 JKMP/SP levels/mods to download? Advertise the older level packs with more modern article-style pages?

We've got a massive amount of content just sitting around, and a 5 dollar game on Steam that runs in all operating systems to access them. These would take relatively no time to do, and would greatly increase the likelihood of generating traffic, new users, and some livelihood into the place.

Something other than the confusing landing page we have now.

Err, What special key?

I have a wide-screen "cut" fix for MP here (a.k.a you can see the whole gun now), but it requires my GSX version of the JKUP to function correctly, at least until Zeq makes a new patch. I will not distribute it right now, but when the next JKUP is released it'll hopefully be automatic like I've been bugging Zeq to do. :)

Though if anyone really wants it, just PM me and I'll give you the cog and a link to my GSX patched JK. :D

If by "do the menus use the ddraw.dll? if so can they be fix to work right?", you mean, "can the menus be full-screen or at least use larger window", then yes.

I am working on getting larger window or full-screen for the menus.

I am also working on fixing the dithering issue and the flicker issue.

(Edit: Oh, I might as well try to get player model preview window working in 16-bit, too.)

Stay tuned!

:)

Just signed up to thank you guys for fixing Jedi Knight. I downloaded the Star Wars pack from Steam having lost my JK discs long ago, only to find it didn't work. However I knew someone would get it working, it's why I love PC gaming. So big thanks from me. Edit Although I am seeing the dithering issues. And also don't have all resolutions, only goes up to 1280x1024 (i think, from the top of my head). Native res is 1920x1200
