1024x on a relatively knackered 14" monitor. I say relatively because the colours are very nearly shot to hell.

I am trying 1280*960 @ 72hz right now... Doesn;t seem that much smaller, only problem is my monitor doesnt want to resize the picture to the very edges of the screen [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

Ran 1280x960 till I got my LCD, since as Juzty n mentioned, it is true 4:3 ratio.

But now I run 1280x1024 x2, the x2 being that I have dual monitor mode.

1280x960 @ 75 Hz

I would like to go 1600x1200 but I can only do so at 60 Hz and I would much rather have functioning eyes and no headaches.

1280x1024 on my 19" moniter. Sometimes I boost it up to 1600x1200 when using 3dsmax, Maya, Flash, or a level editer so I can get a little more room on the screen for all those panels.
