Yay Wisdom Teeth

mine started growing in last year but they just kind of halted their growth. i havent gone to the dentist because theres no pain or anything, so why try to fix something that isnt broken?
I'm proud of my life and the things that I have done, proud of myself and the loner I've become.

According to my dentist and Xrays, I have an extremely tiny mouth and my back teeth really press against my cheek, making it absolutely impossible for a toothbrush to reach my wisdom teeth. Even the dentist and hygenists say my mouth is very difficult to work on because of the size inside. Anyways, I had to get my right wisdoms removed because they started to get really sore.

A few weeks after that my left wisdom tooth cracked in half, because of the decay. I had to go to the dentist and get it filed down (the person that did extractions wasnt in that day) because it was cutting the inside of my cheek every time I moved my mouth at all. It's still like that, and bit by bit it keeps falling apart. I have roughly half a wisdom tooth sitting in there right now, but my extraction is set for January so it's coming out as well.

Okay, Forest-boy. For the rest of us future-dwellers, we'll bring our mp3 players.. :p

Also: so weird. This summer my dentist said i'd probably need them out in the next year or two. And then today I started feeling a VERY VERY UNCOMFORTABLE feeling in my bottom right side of my mouth. This is going to be ****ty timing if I have to get them out now. :(

To prevent further problems? Wisdom teeth won't fit in the majority of mouths and if they aren't taken out will cause problems. You might as well go to a dentist to get them checked out. If they're not a problem, congratulations, you're one of the few. If they are a problem, it's better to get them out before they cause pain or mess with the alignment of your teeth.

The longer you wait before getting your wisdom teeth or any tooth problems taken care of the greater likelihood that further down the road the dental surgery required will be more intense. I.e the necessity for actually cutting of the gums, which has greater pain or discomfort involved as well as a longer recuperation period. When I got mine removed the problem wasn't that bad so they could just rip them out without putting me under or cutting anything at all.
