:D
Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

Sugarless! Isn't this awesome? We never get snow.

I know!! It's fantastic! I know we had a pretty decent fall in 03, and the blizzard of 96, but aside from that it's usually just lame dustings, a couple of inches tops. This is awesome

We've got about 10-12 inches of snow.

I don't know how you guys deal with it, honestly.

Rain...we just go about our daily business like it isn't even happening...which usually leads to a lot of road fatalities.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Does it not snow often enough on that side of the country to warrant snowblower/thrower ownership? I think everybody I know owns one and generally have driveways and sidewalks cleared an hour after the snow falls.
"Honey, you got real ugly."
2009-12-20, 12:18 PM #54
Well you don't really need one unless you are a home owner.

Otherwise your driveway probably isn't big enough to warrant one, or you might not have storage.

Usually when it snows it's pretty mild so it's not worth buying one. A bunch of the neighbors have them, but most of us were shoveling

Snowed the last 4 days in a row, isn't terribly heavy.
nope.

When it snows more then an inch once every ten years, no, owning a snowblower isn't worth it.

We had snow briefly a week or so ago. Now we're in the high 50s again.

In Kentucky, it's been drizzling and cloudy in the mid 30's for the past four days. Pretty much the worst weather possible.

It snowed another 6 inches last night and I've woken up to airplanes skidding off runways and motorways covered in jacknifed lorries.

This is inconvenient. Also apparently temperatures could hit -16C tonight. :(
nope.
