I find it humorous how these rich, educated liberals aren't very generous. And also wtf is with Utah have a 1 generosity score?

To be fair to Tennessee, those of us who live in Middle TN basically don't really consider West TN and East TN to be part of the same state. We consider West TN to be the land of crime and East TN to be the land of the hill people.

Hah, I can tell you it's inaccurate for Texas, it's definitely a conservative state.

I want to see the same chart sorted by 'percentage of population impoverished'. Also, for consistency sake:

  • Murder Rate as a percentage of population.
  • Theft Occurrence as a percentage of population.
  • Divorce Rate as a percentage of population.

Then again, I'm fairly certain most of the inflammatory pictures from the past few years have been made by me *nod*

And...? 43% self-identifying as conservative is quite high.

I tried to use some OCR software to convert the image into text, but it just turned into a mess. I think my scanner should be able to do it, but then I'd have to print it out and scan it back in again. Which seems sort of silly.

Obviously, the IQ average for Ohio is because of me.

I think the reason Oklahoma's average is less than 100 is because of my roommate.

Wouldn't it be smarter to rate these things by population density? I mean, it seems to me (I'm nowhere near educated on this subject) that criminality would be much higher in densely populated areas...

Most of their population is Mormon. 10% of a Mormon's income belongs to the Church.

The poor tend to be more religious, have higher divorce rates and lower IQ scores. By putting it in order of religiosity, it seems to point causality, however, Utah and North Dakota show that a more prosperous state is happier, more generous, smarter and are generally better off. Religion really has nothing to do with anything.

Looks like it's sorted by religiousness so I don't know if I would be to proud of that

If they count that as generosity they're delusional. And, going by the chart, looks like they did count it.

No duh, have you seen southerners trying to drive in snow? They'll go 80mph in a foot of ice and snow, and move like a funeral procession when it's just barely snowing.
