Were LEGOs always so expensive??

The plural of Lego is legos. End of story. Quit trying to rape my childhood.

If we keep on saying Legos they will eventually loose their trademark right :P

I never knew anyone as a kid who pluralized it as "Legos" O_o

No one said "Lego Bricks" either, of course; the plural of "Lego" is just "Lego". Used collectively, anyway. As in, you'd say "hey, hand me a bunch of blue Lego" instead of "hand me many blue Lego bricks". I guess "pieces" was used as well: "I need some of the 2x2 square pieces".

Also, this is amusing and somewhat related: http://www.themorningnews.org/archives/opinions/a_common_nomenclature_for_lego_families.php

I have only ever said "Legos." Same goes for all my friends. If anyone has an actual problem with this, they're probably a ****.

A lego is a single piece.

Legos are many pieces.

This is the law of the universe.

My grandparents had a stock of them for us when we were at their house, but we never had any ourselves. Just lots of LEGOs

Seriously, "Lego" does not exist... it's "LEGO". Yes it matters.

This thread brings back fond memories of my childhood (besides the LEGO(s) part). Lincoln Logs & Weebles to Hot Wheels, Micro Machines & Record Breakers to He-Man, G.I.JOE & TMNT & Star Wars.

Does anyone else remember C3PO Cereal & Ninja Turtle Pies? Delicious! :)
? :)

I'm not being a douche, if it didn't matter the people who created the company wouldn't have made a point to ensure it labeled "LEGO" on every product they make, including website and other documents.

Just because you don't care, doesn't mean it's not important.

HOW is it important? Does referring to it as Lego instead of LEGO somehow diminish the value of the product? It's OBVIOUSLY the same thing. Capitalization does NOT matter that much.

Bah, the whole discussion got thrown off, and now I'm mad at the product.
