It recently occurred to me that I carry a lot of crap in my pockets/on my belt.

(1) Work phone & holster (belt)
(2) Personal phone holster, N95 not pictured as it took the photo (belt)
(3) Pocket Watch (front right pocket)
(4) Coolest Zippo ever (change pocket)
(5) Keys (front left pocket)
(6) Multi-tool (front left pocket)
(7) Flash light (front left pocket)
(8) The knife so nice I bought it twice [lost and then found, currently lost one again] (front left pocket)
(9) Loose change (front left pocket)
(10) Money clip (back right pocket)

Back left pocket is kept clear for whatever randomness befalls me.

Post what you've got.

I travel light.

1) Phone in my right front pocket
2) Home keys + 2 USB thumb drives on a keyring in front left pocket
3) Wallet in front left pocket

And when I am at work:

4) Car keys in my front right pocket
5) ID badge clipped on my belt roughly over my front right pocket.

I don't typically carry the car keys when not driving (technically it's my dad's car).

Any change I get goes in loose to my front right pocket.

I usually keep my phone separate from most of my stuff because it is poorly designed* and the volume buttons on the outside beep when pressed even though they don't do anything while the flip phone is closed. Except beep. It is annoying.

Used to have a holster for my phone but that was also poorly designed. The only place to grip the phone to take it out was the antenna. I dropped it on concrete a couple times taking it out the first few days I had it. Ditched it and haven't dropped it (nearly as much) since. It's been a few years since I dropped it on concrete at all.

* - LG CG1300i. Parents got everyone cell phones for Christmas, my mom freely admits she selected this phone because it was the cheapest they had.

Sometimes I'll have a multitool on my belt.

front left: cell phone, keys
back left: empty
front right: chapstick, pen/pencil, gum, mp3 player, any other random things i might need
back right: wallet

Front right pocket: Keys (on an S-biner carabiner that's clipped to the pocket), cell phone
Back left pocket: handkerchief
Back right pocket: wallet

Anything else goes in my left pocket.

I have my wallet and keys combined as one item.
I also have a phone.

Sometimes there are drugs in my pockets. But that's about it.

I have no need for anything extra to be in my pockets.

right pocket: cell phone, gum, and pocket knife
left pocket: wallet, ID, and keys

SO IF YOU EVER WANT TO PICKPOCKET ME YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHERE TO GO but then again I do have a hugely obvious lanyard hanging off my wallet.

I refuse to keep anything but money in my pants pockets unless the pants are really loose. I usually wear a jacket with all my stuff in the pockets of it.

Any other junk joins my wallet on my right pocket.

I wear martial arts pants whenever I can, so no pockets!

But when I do:

keys in left front pocket
phone in right front pocket
wallet in back right pocket

That's it! If I have anything else, I shove it in with my keys because i need to access them less frequently.

back right: keys** (which are clipped to nearby belt loop)
back left: memoranda book (more convenient than a checkbook register to keep track of my debit card transactions)
belt: small zippered pouch containing IEMs*, knife

left- my phones (yeah, I have two) and keys
right- wallet and Good Luck Chuck (my voodoo doll)

I don't have a whole lot in my pants. (HAHAHA)

Keys (hanging off of a small loop on my belt, but actually in my pocket so they don't show or jingle)
Gun (if not on campus)

but I try to keep most of my stuff in jacket pockets or shirt pockets if I can. If not, these end up in my pants pockets, in order of importance:
Phone
At least one pen and one mechanical pencil
Small notebook
Carmex
iPod
extra mag for gun (if carrying)

Am I the only person who immediately thinks "drug dealer" or "involved with the mob" about anyone who carries multiple cell phones?

What about people that have separate work and personal phones...

This is a foreign concept to me.

I was just messing around. I know there are obvious reasons someone would need to carry 2 cell phones.

Actually both mine are personal phones >_>
One is with Telstra, so my friends on Telstra can text me at 1c per message, my second phone is with Vodafone and let's me text me bestie for free and ring her for really cheap.

Basically I had a cheap crappy phone on pre-paid, bought an iphone through a different company and found it advantageous to keep both

You can use Google Voice to forward one to the other.

I keep my keys in my front left pocket and my wallet in my back right. Everything else I prefer to keep in my jacket pockets.
