I was referring to THEY HAVE A HUGE METAL SKELETON.

Like, when they open their mouths. Magically you see a human mouth. And people are squishy! They wouldn't be squishy!

Underneath the squishy stuff.

Little-known fact: that's actually a picture of Summer Glau before she went into makeup during the filming of Serenity.

It's really really bad. Never mind the overt Glenn Beck character, the Obamanation references, and pro-conservative value characters, the show itself is pretty bland. The first half of the season was much worse, as actors seem to have settled into their characters better but it's still test audience approved tune in next week for more plodding along.

The original show was much better for its time. I enjoyed watching that much more, and the only thing that has kept me watching is the actress playing Anna is my kind of hot.

Overt Glenn Beck character? It must not be overt enough. Pro-conservative value characters? To be honest, I can't even be sure that we're watching the same show.

And so it begins.

The first four episodes reek of it, and it gets better after the break when everyone complained about it. It's still in there. All the buzz words, all the scare tactics. Universal Healthcare, Change and Hope, "Do you really trust the government to..." etc etc.

Oh, yeah, I remember that. I commented on it before. But, just like the current administration and the Romans, if you want to get popular with the underclass and gain power you give them the illusion that you're giving them stuff. Still, there doesn't seem to be any prominent conservative themes in the storyline. Afterall, this is ABC, the network that won't release the wildly popular Path to 9/11 on DVD.
