I've never experienced chiggers, but we've got some pretty bad bugs up in the Adirondacks. Black fly season will be getting into full swing soon... those little suckers make you hate life more than anything, but at least they go away at night... but by the time they've all died off in late June, the mosquitoes have come out full force, and they stay out all night long.

I've heard that the only place in the US with a worse bug season than the Adirondacks is Alaska.
