I haven't had sufficient reason to punch my brother in about 10 years. He had been saving a peeled hard boiled egg in a jar for 8 months, then let it open in my car. He got a black eye, and I got kicked out of the house for a few days.

You're not supposed to punch the guy in the face, you're supposed to pull out the age card. "Fine, act like a 5 year old. Here's you're TV little guy." then pat him on the head and leave.

Mind games are far better than physical violence. ;)

How the **** do you use a computer AND a television at the same time? Seriously, what easier solution could there be then to decide to let one on the computer and one watch television. You just punched your own brother because of a ****ing television. Let me repeat that: YOU JUST PUNCHED YOUR OWN BROTHER BECAUSE OF A TELEVISION. After being scolded by your family, you come here with your tail between your legs asking if we're okay with punching your brother? You're immature as hell, accept it.

I do that all the time.

A few people suggested that SK go and watch one of the different televisions, that's only really a valid solution if his computer is a laptop. It's more likely that this was the only television that could be watched whilst on the computer.

well clearly whatever he was watching was much more important than what he was doing on the computer. even when on my laptop i dont care enough if someone changes the channel of what i was watching on the tv. its really just nothing to get that worked up over.

Wookie06 said it right and so did everybody else on this thread. SK both you and your brother have got some serious anger management problems here. If I did something so violently immature such as this I would of not of mentioned this on the forums, because I know what kind of feedback I would receive. You two are just like those Hobbit Brothers that were fighting over the ring and one brother killed the other one. I think the both of you need to ****ing grow up.

You're doing it wrong!

Smeagol (Gollum) killed the hobbit with the Ring to get it from him. They weren't related in any way.

Woah, now that I think of it, he actually kind of might have been related to Déagol (back when he was a hobbit).

Deagol wasn't related to Smeagol, they were friends.

http://www.tuckborough.net/otherhobbits.html#Deagol

Quote:
One day in the year 2463, Deagol and his friend Smeagol went fishing near the Gladden Fields. Deagol caught a large fish on his line and was dragged out of the boat to the bottom of the river, where he saw something shiny in the riverbed. Deagol let go of his line and dived for the object, which turned out to be a gold ring. Although Deagol did not know it, the ring was the One Ring wrought by the Dark Lord Sauron, and it had lain at the bottom of the Anduin since the year 2 when Isildur was slain at the Gladden Fields.

At least, most of the information I can find seems to point to them just having nothing but similar names in common.
2010-07-11, 2:18 PM #62
Yes, he killed Déagol after he refused to give him the ring. I don't think it explicitly says anywhere that they were brothers, but there is an off chance that they were related. But again, I also haven't read The Hobbit or the LOTR in a long, long while.

Actually, according to Fox News, Smeagol was an illegal immigrant.

I may be wrong about Deagol and his friend being brothers, but I never read the hobbit either, I have only seen the movie's. You see they have to be related somehow, because their gene pool is not very large. Kind of like some folk that lives in the hills of West Virginia, or the Polygamists (FLDS) in Utah. They have to be inbred because thats why their short, got funny looking ears and their feet are too large for their proportion. :neckbeard:

But anyhow I thought that this would of been a good analogy because in real life friends or brothers have fought violently or even committed murder over something so meaningless. I think SK and his brother owe each other a sincere apology.

I take offense. The stereotype that West Virginians are inbred is not founded in truth. Are there cases? Yes, but there are also cases in other places besides this state. So please kindly lose the stereotype. It's simply ignorant.

Also they could be brothers because their names rhyme, just like Squirrel King and his bro.

Ok! dont take it personally, I apologize. You remind me of myself. Ok I will rephrase it, they are like some degenerate societies, besides if you noticed that I made fun of the FLDS (Polygamists) group of people in the state where I live, and they are by far the most degenerated people in the U.S. and its not stereotyping these people, its the absolute factual truth. So anyway dont take it personal, I have nothing against West Virginia, Its a gorgeous place. :)

Umm, yeah, I usually decry "anti-redneck" commentary here because it equates to the same type of racism that some here claim to be against. However, his post said "some folk" which implies a minority and was in no way exclusionary of other states fitting the same criteria. I know what you mean but save that sort of criticism for the intellectual elites here that actually believe [virtually] all West Virginians are inbred hicks.

Uh oh did I accidentally declare war against West Virginia? After all I joke about the place where I come from, which is Las Vegas Nevada, and I definitley make fun of the people in Utah, which makes up about 75% of the population that are definite Red Necks. So come on zecks, laugh a little.

edit: btw at least I didn't say anything derogatory about Canadians. :P

Punching is always the wrong way (unless someone attacks you) and I think you know it.

How about getting some help because, it may be now just a problem in your family, but maybe one day you hit someone else and he will **** you up for that really bad or you get arrested for hitting someone really bad... believe me: saw it, did it and got over it... and there is nothing to shame about to get help, you should be ashamed of yourself if you think that you're right. I got brothers too and I know how anoying they can be, but punching is not the way out... if he acts like a ****head let him, because if just he acts in a bad way only he will get punished, but now you are the a** because you were overacting.... and another thing... if you want to watch TV and work with your Computer get your own TV or buy a TV Card / Stick whatever...

btw. sorry for my bad english
