Let's see...TF2 has 28 of my hours....KOTOR has....200 hours.

KOTOR gets my vote :P

TF2 has about 20 of my hours, KOTOR has 2.
Thief =p

TF2 = 0 hours
Kotor = 120 hours
Thief series = I would guess well over 300 hours.

That's a lot of replays and FMs.

I think it's harder to get into TF2 then before as a new player.

Early TF2 was popular because of it's simplicity and streamlined design, but it has become significantly more complicated... not sure in a good way. Alot of the new, alternative weapons are different through statistical behaviors (% damage for this, % weakness for that) which may confuse new users.

Yeah, played each on all difficulty levels, tried some ghosting, collecting 100% of the loot, and even got bored in Thief2 and collected all the bodies from each of the first 2 levels into one place for a screenshot. That was so tedious I quit after the 2nd level.

Last night's effort is below. Everyone in the level but 2 knocked out and all loot acquired. The 3 deaths were spiders.

I like to think of knockout count (and kill count) as being like scores in golf. The lower, the better, because it's more challenging that way.
However, it's fun to try to get as many airborne knockouts as possible. Did you know it counts those?

And seriously, try the FMs I linked. They're fantastic. You need darkloader to play them.

I'm not sure why, but I felt that Team Fortress Classic was better than TF2 somehow. I think a part of it is because you could infect the other team with the medic.
I'm just a little boy.

Yeah, that's like ghosting: no kills, no knockouts, no one knows you were there.

Me, I like to try and knock out everyone in the level.

Damn, now I have to go find a used copy of Thief II somewhere. I already downloaded all of the items on Flirb's list, without even having the game.

I can always send you an image of give you my old copy.

Ugh. Thief 3, what a wreck. Kurshok Citadel was boring and stupid. Two major problems: First, the Kurshok are a dumb cliche idea of a race. The old humans in the old city was better. Second, there were WAY too many enemies in that level to make it scary. If you KNOW that each room has a guard in it, there's no suspense. 80% of the sunken city from the first game had nothing in it. You got overconfident and eventually were met with a terrible, scary surprise.

There's no room to move around in any of the levels. Guards everywhere. It's not "difficulty" it's just unrealistic and stupid.

Also the levels being tiny doesn't help. And the annoying movement bugs. Oh, and the fact that the AI didn't change in four years. How did they **** it up this badly? It's like the lead producer went, "Daaa urr, Theef, that game dun sound cool, I can make one!" and just :downs:'ed all over it.

Oh and what's with all the guards reacting so VERBALLY to EVERY LITTLE SOUND? I haven't played T1/T2 in years but I don't remember it being this bad. "Who hath made that noise??" "Hah, I jump at naught!" ALL THE TIME. It's RIDICULOUS. These enemies are TERRIBLE guards.

Also, this is a HUGE flaw with every Thief game. Why is there no "quiet drop" button? It's easy to accidentally pick up something that you think is loot (even in T3, since I have loot glint off), or just accidentally hit the button, then all of a sudden you can't get rid of it without making racket.

Thief 3 was great.
Not awesome, could've been better, but I still loved it.

It's a lot of little things that are getting to me :argh: Like the cutscenes, one cutscene with the keepers had only half of them lip syncing? The others were still... wtf

iirc, if you are crouching you can drop nearly silently. Or at least without alerting someone.

Well, I went back and KO'ed the other three guys. They were in the front entrance. The only tricky part was if I stepped through the entrance I completed the mission and couldn't knock them all out. So I had to convince them all to come inside for nappy-time. :)

I meant drop objects, not fall down.

That's what I meant too. I know it's more difficult in T3, but it can be done if your careful.
