I don't like them, I'm 23, and I went for the first time last year. I don't care to give my money to women who can't make money doing something productive. The only reason I went last time was my buddy who had leukemia wanted to go.

Apparently the best looking women are there Friday-Sunday nights. For obvious reasons.

I turned down one with a girl on her 21st today Just a money pit but I give credit to anyone who can make 500 dollars in one night.

There are a few clubs in columbus that are BYOB (since they didn't have a 'bar' the girls were also fully nude) so essentially you can go look at women for free (with no dances) and drink cheap beer. Then they passed a new law and now they have to wear bottoms and pasties so what's the point.

It's BYOB in some of the ones (maybe all?) around Dallas, but they won't let you sit around and watch for free. They'll throw you out after too long.

I have never been to one of these establishments. I've known several strippers in my life though & don't have any less respect for them because of it. However, it's just not my type of thing. I'm too much of a romantic.

I do have a funny stripper story though. I was at strip club with friends for a bachelor party. One of the strippers was a chubbster. She couldn't do much on the pole so she wasn't getting a lot of tips. She *****ed at us for not tipping then proceeded to fall off the stage. We laughed at her.

I like the place, but it's not the only place in Maine. Divas is here in Bangor, and I know there are a few lesser known clubs too. PT's is the place to be though. Just stay strong. The last time I went in there I left $400 lighter. The girls I met that night were very, very good at their jobs.

I went once in college. I think it was somebody's birthday. All I really remember is that we got my roommate a lapdance and it was awkward in the most hilarious way possible.

The strippers are the people that most consistantly tip at my work.

I've been to one here in Liverpool twice for friend's 18th birthdays. It was certainly an experience. The second time the bouncers were warning us on the way in about our mobile phones because they'd had to throw one guy out earlier for taking pictures, which is a big no-no. Since there's a twisting staircase on the way out, we had a pretty good idea how he'd left the premises.

On a slightly more funny note, I happened to overhear a conversation between a friend of mine and the girl he was just about to get a lapdance from (everyone sits within rather large booths and it was between songs while the girls looked for their next customer).

He opened with "So...is this really what you want to do with your life?"

To which she replied, "Actually I make £400 a night."

Followed by an "Um..." and probably a very awkward lapdance for both parties.

Not too big on em, but around here it's pretty acceptable to just chill out and have a couple of drinks. Don't have to waste your cash on dances if it's not your thing. Avoid couches, one of the reasons the lights are so dim is because of how ****ing filthy the places can be.

Some of the dancers can be extremely witty/sharp. They've got a ton of experience dealing with *******s, so just talking to them can be anywhere from fun to hilarious. Beats the **** out of going to a bar that only has girls that want to stay inside the social circle they are out with. If it's a quality joint, it can be pretty hard to keep your cool though with all the smokeshows walking/jiggling around, and if they're on their a-game you will definitely be tempted to drop some cash.

Personally, I don't buy myself lapdances but I have no problem treating a buddy. Especially if they've never had one before. Really hot girl + naked + grinding HARD on your crotch = something everyone should experience AT LEAST once, no matter how sleazy it is.

There's one here in Oceanside colloquially known as "The Purple Church". I've been to that a few times. It's not the best experience. There's a lot of drunk Marines there and the girls were kind of busted. There's a township called Kearney Mesa here in San Diego and that's basically the porn/adult capitol of San Diego with lots of strip clubs, adult stores, etc. Again, earshot distance from USMC Air Station Miramar. Ah Marines. Bringing bare boobies to beautiful San Diego.

You know, guys who go "whoooo" and "yeah!", while oogling the dancers with money in their hands? I also wonder how awkward it would be for a lapdancer if I just sit there and be completely stoic.
