Yeah, dude, it's not happening, but I'm glad I made a valiant effort (and glad so many people had my back). I mean, I'll be happy if I work my way a little higher up, but it still won't quite be enough, not in just 4 days. :/

Considering my late start, it was pretty damn close. Just not quite close enough. :(

I didn't think you did, I'm just being realistic about the situation. But I appreciate the clarification. :)

The end of the voting is at 11:59pm on September 17th (this Friday). Still a chance to move up significantly, MAYBE break into the top 120 or so, but I would need to be in the top 30 overall at this point to make it to the semis. But if you want to vote, please, keep on doing what you're doing! :D

well I've noticed there is a heck of a lot more women than guys, roughly speaking I'd guess you are in top 50 for males, you never know they might extend it out a bit.

It's a shame because I honestly think you have one of the better photo's up there, some of them higher up are, to be quite frank...crap. (although I do like the one with the dude standing in the pool with a drink taking a photo, that deserves mention)

Thanks Poley, I appreciate that compliment a great deal! I saw the one with the guy in the pool, and yeah, it is striking and certainly merits some points for creativity. But alas, as with many of these online "vote for me" contests, it is ultimately a glorified popularity vote. But I am still glad I entered and made it as far as I did. :)

Yeah, that bug always existed, I just think the servers couldn't process all the votes going on, so it would keep skipping between numbers for a while. After a while, it sorted itself out though. I think all votes were registered, sometimes they just displayed erratically.

Either that, or it was just rigged..... >_>

As you have probably already figured out, the contest is now over. Thanks so much for the support, even though I didn't make it to the semifinals, I got really close with your help - finished about 140 out of 5,000 entries (and with over 2,000 votes)!!! Wouldn't have been possible without you, so once again, thank you immensely! :)
