Simple transposition.

You mean like Hitler transposed the Jews to Auschwitz?
2010-09-11, 9:58 PM #43
You're awesome! Not only butt hurt that I used his Jewish name but that I misspelled it. Ulterior motives for using it and misspelling it. A two for one. Well, actually three for none!

And "state controlled media." I can't wait until he discovers "sheeple."

I may have used that one already but I don't prefer it. I prefer to just refer to the democrat constituency as "sheep".

I bet Wookie06 is also one of those people that thinks we didn't visit the moon. After all, Fox was the network that aired that "We didnt go to the moon its a hoax" show, and we all know how super amazing awesome Fox is.

Well, there is a huge difference between the news channel and the entertainment channel but, I was thinking, I remember several years ago downloading that show. I must have lost it in a reformat or something; forgot to back it up I guess (I had a really good copy of the original King Kong too). I think the reason I wanted to watch it was because of some footage of one of the "moon astronauts" literally attacking somebody over it. Funny thing is I probably heard about it from this forum! I'm not someone who thinks we didn't go to the moon but I thought some interesting points were made in that show. That's funny though because people used to say the same thing about Michael Moore movies and those are basically just Borat-style political satire comedies.

I love Michael Moore, both because of the fact that he jerks to Canada and France on a daily basis, and because he's funny. Sometimes he even has a point.

No. All of the ideas presented not only in that show, but ALL of the "theories" about how we didn't go to the moon are not at all interesting. They are stupid and easily debunked with a little thought, let alone actual scientific factual data to back it up. How can something stupid be interesting? Or rather, how can something that isn't a fact at all but a super far stretch of the truth (i.e grasping for cosmic straws on a grand level), be interesting at all?

Unless you mean, it's interesting to do a 2 minute google search on how it's a false claim to find out such. The 2 minutes of course, depending on your internet connection and reading comprehension level.

And that is just ONE example of Fox stretching the "truth" to stir up the masses that commune to their bull****.

Well, it's been years since I watched it but I seem to remember so interesting claims. I'm not saying I give any credence to the notion that it was a hoax and even if it was, how could you get so many people to keep their mouths shut about it? Successfully pulling off a hoax of this magnitude, over and over again, would be nearly as difficult as actually going to the moon. And I made a mistake, I thought the show being referred to was A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon. So far as I can tell the show that aired on Fox was Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon? I imagine that show was not as one sided but who knows?

It was a pun when I first used it. The more accurate term would be "Statist Controlled Media".

Well, let's see. I didn't bring up Fox News in this thread nor the thread this was derived from and I also didn't bring up the moon conspiracy. So exactly whose shtick is it?

Under a conservative presidency, does Fox News become a statist media outlet?
