Hulk Hogan would not do that, he is a true patriot.

Hollywood Hulk Hogan might.

Yeah Hulk Hogan just wants you to pray, eat your vitamins, and get a good night's sleep or some trash like that.

I went to a memorial service morning for the first time since 2001. They said a few words and talked about the 9 people that were killed from here. It still sucks but I'm getting comfortable with talking about it.

I was thinking there was a lot of superhero art related to 9/11 but I'm not finding much. This was the best I could find.

2010-09-11, 9:08 AM #10
why is there so much superhero art for 9/11?
2010-09-11, 9:23 AM #11
It seems like a lot of them were made by artists not directly involved in 9/11 that are trying to make a statement or some insincere attempt at sincerity.

In only nine short years, our moronic media has turned a tragedy into something that now just seems stupid.
2010-09-11, 9:34 AM #13
Wut?

Doesn't seem stupid to me, but I suppose thats a Location thing.

Don't you live fairly close to where it happened mb?

2010-09-11, 10:54 AM #16
That's a little crazy. It is true that the media drills 9/11 into everyone's faces, but that shouldn't override the fact that it was something awful and a LOT of people lost their lives.
2010-09-11, 11:04 AM #17
Indeed, its a location thing. I dont expect people to comprehend what it's like for me, and I'm sure most people dont realize I was directly effected. As for the media, I don't watch the news around now. It's too much.

You can go back and start it from the introduction, but here's part 5, where you get to the meat of it. I believe he's got the whole thing up there. This is definitely the best documentary I've seen on the day in regards to humanizing it for people who weren't there.

It's possible for conservatives to have classless humor too, of course.

In nine years have we...

Made the nation safer? no
Imposed ridiculous knee-jerk legislation: yes
Caught Osama bin Laden? no
Mired ourselves in two costly wars that brought little beneficial results? yes
Destabilized an entire region? yes (although we did that much earlier than Sept. 11)

I don't know that it's fair to say the middle east has ever been really "stable" since.... Oh I don't know... Ever?

Actually, the Middle East was pretty much as stable as Europe was for over a thousand years, basically until the 20th century.
