Yea, they don't knock you out for Lasik though, right?

That would be freaky as hell. I don't like things near my face, yet alone someone CUTTING MY EYE OPEN.

Nope, you're awake for Lasik. I'm not sure how they'd be able to do this with the patient being conscious, considering they're cutting, moving, and stitching the muscles that move the eyeball around.
