I find this to be an interesting statement. I would be curious how you would describe me especially considering you don't know me.

Yes. Basically you just routinely make the statement you did in this thread for no reason other than to appear witty and ingratiate yourself with the Massassi Elite. Generally, my posts about fox news are in response to your dumb posts. I got it, you don't like fox news and you prefer the content a comedian performing in (a mock fox news') character delivers.

So if you think Fox News is a joke that makes you a part of the Massassi Elite? That doesn't sound like a very elite group.

Can someone please give me a list of the Massassi Elite? I must have missed the memo (probably because I'm not elite enough to receive one). Whose jank do I have to wank to get an invite? Are there any special privileges (e.g: discounts)? I'm always lookin' for a good deal.

I'd love to know who the ME is too, something tells me the list is kept secret though.

If you were part of the Elite you would just underpay a Mexican to do it while at the same time discussing how poorly treated he is. That is, rather than "pick" the potato yourself. And, finally, [http://www.myspacelayoutsupport.com/myspace-graphics/images/funny/potatoes.gif].

I believe it is determined by whether you disagree with Wookie06 or not. If you do, then odds are you're a member of the intellectual elite because it means you say things he doesn't understand.

If I think I'm in the elite, does that count?

Totally does.

You probably are, Martyn. You're not a psychotic right wing nutjob, and I think that means you are in the Elite.

To be in the ME you must have been a member of massassi for more than ten years. You can tell this via join dates, though some of them are not accurate. (You won't find any earlier than the switch to this forum software, for example.)
2010-09-25, 3:00 PM #55
Actually the registration dates can go back as far as the UBB

Yep, user accounts were imported. I joined in 2001 and it was still UBB. Oldest reg dates are 1999.

That's why I set it at 10 years. :D

Also I was thinking of the switch TO UBB probably. I don't actually know what we're running now. I remember when the forum was a single list of topics with all the replies in line right there.

I've been here for more than 11 years....I didn't get any memo of being invited to the ME.

There are discounts, but it's all for stuff I would never use. Really, the best part of being elite is the luncheons.
2010-09-25, 6:44 PM #61
I joined in around 1999 I do believe. Does this mean that I'm an elite? Granted I only participated in editing discussions in those early years. If so, please direct me to the discounts. :)

Huh, I really did type "potato." Weird.

And if anyone's wondering why they didn't get an invite to the Massassi Elite, I'm responsible. We can't let just anyone in!

No, that's only half of the elites. The other half of the elites - you know, the rich people you vote for - underpay Mexicans to do it while at the same time lying to you about wanting to deport them.

The rich elites you vote for love the Mexicans because they work hard and they don't get rights. They hate you. They make fun of how stupid you are, and how you wasted your life in the military fighting for their right to buy a Rolls Royce while they - the real winners in life - cheated and lied their way out of boot camp. They laugh about how many of your rights they can erode. They laugh about how much of your property they can steal - sorry, I mean "privatize." And before you know it you'll have nothing - no job, no family and no future - because you were stupid enough to have faith in a bunch of rich Americans who are so patriotic that they technically live in the Cayman Islands, and you'll be the one climbing over that fence you whined so hard to get built.

By the way, Stephen Colbert isn't satire... he's parody. You can't satirize the American Right because you'd never know the difference.

Off topic but definitely agree with what's his face up there ^

That was probably one of the most eviscerative posts I've ever seen. Damn good point though.

Go ahead and credit me with "eviscerative" on wikipedia please.

It's worth noting, if we want to discuss this seriously, that quite a few (I would assume a substantial majority, at a total of 242,211 in 2007, but I don't have all the numbers) migrant workers are not illegal immigrants (who, being "illegals," presumably can deal with it or go home), but are legally in the U.S. on nonimmigrant H-2 visas. These workers still have little bargaining power and are regularly mistreated, as is this article details with painful clarity.

I said eviscerate yesterday. We passed a pub called the Fox and Rabbit. I told Izzy that I would expect the sign should show an eviscerated rabbit and a fat fox. She wasn't impressed.

If you think it and I think it then it MUST be true.

I'm so happy. I didn't write an acceptance speech though >_>

I remember when I used to get worked up at Jon`C posts. Considering that I now have a slightly better understanding that inflammatory posts of his are generally a mixture of his beliefs, things he disbelieves, and trolling, all in a very witty and intelligent manner, I just kind of go "meh".

I haven't been here for ten years, I'm more pedestrian than an intellectual, and I don't agree with everything Jon`C says (just most of it).

However, since I agree with Krokodile 100% of the time (when he means what he says, and whenever I don't change my mind later) and I'm the only one to do so, that makes me a special kind of elite. An elite of only one person, no one else invited, IT JUST DOESN'T GET ANY MORE ELITE THAN THAT!

Then again Jon`C's pretty much the only one left.
