is Batman: Arkham Asylum worth buying?

I disagree. It totally deals with your opinion that there is "something wrong" with me because I prefer console controls for FPS. I'm a casual gamer that prefers the better ergonomics of console gamepads to a mouse and keyboard. Preferences, silly things.

I played it for a few minutes last night and can definitely tell how a controller would be a good idea. However, I only have wireless controllers and I don't want to spend 35 bucks for a wired one, so I will probably use kb/mouse.
woot!

Being a casual gamer has nothing to do with which controls you prefer. There's plenty of casual gamers that prefer the pc, especially since the pc has a hell of a lot more in the way of casual games.
The controls argument is also meaningless since the controller you use works on the pc just as easily.
Preferences, sure... you can prefer the controller for fps', and normally I'm the first to say each to their own, but when someone who has used both mouse/keyboard and controller for fps' and chooses the controller... it's just freaking weird.
(also the ergonomics line was amusing)

Yeah, I got that adapter. On proper modern games you'd think you were actually playing a 360.

I wish I'd gotten that adaptor, instead I used a wired 360 controller... till my puppy chewed through the cord

I'd get some heat shrink tubing to use instead of electrical tape though.

That doesn't look so hard...
Thanks!
I'll give that a closer look later today.
