Anyone else interested in splitting the Trine 8-pack? $2.50 apiece if 8 people get it, normally 20 bucks for 1 copy. The 8 pack is 20 dollars today. I guess I'd be willing to put the money down if 7 people (or close to 7) were interested.

Awesome game, definitely worth ten bucks. It's very linear, but it feels like a high budget movie.

KotOR is only $2.50. If you don't have it, and you don't take advantage of this deal, you are an idiot.

The Russian accents in the trailer are way over done and sound hilarious.

Well I got lucky.

Someone did a gift giveaway for Trine contest and asked questions on the steam forums, and I got one of them right first, and I got a free copy of Trine :D.

Dirt 2 for 5 bucks is an excellent deal. I've been playing it pretty consistently since the July sale. Plays well with a 360 controller too.

I'll definitely go for that!

I'll pitch in as the 8th if no one else does? (If CM can cover my cost I'll pp you the 2.50 on top of my hosting - Or I can PP someone else if that's an imposition)

After some of these deals my steam library is starting to look impressive :D

This.

Sorry guys :(. We only have 4 people total anyways, it'd be like $5 apiece. I guess I might still pitch in for my copy to give as a gift to a friend or something. Problem is we need more people to pitch in methinks.

It's hard to plan for these things when the gift packs only last a day.

I wonder if that was the Christmas sale. Didn't it go from black friday until Christmas day last year?

If I remember last year they had a "25 days of Christmas" sale or something.
Every day for 25 days there was a new single item on sale.

Here's hoping to a sale starting tommorrow *Raises eggnog*

So far, nothing.

But yeah, I remember there was some sort of sale right around Christmas/New Year last year because that's when I bought UT3 and Defense Grid.

On the 25th Gaben will give one free game, at random, to all steam users that registered before 2007.

From THE WEB.

Which also means it is outright BS, as the number of games that would be handed out for free would run in the hundreds of thousands.

I purchased Aliens vs. Predator for $9-10 & Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days for $6-7. I enjoyed the original AvP, never played AvP2 & am hoping that the new one is decent. I had never heard of Kane & Lynch until I saw the sale for this but the trailer looked interesting so I figured "what the hell?". I don't really care about single-player & purchased both of these games w/ the intention of playing multi-player.

My wish list is as follows.
  • Borderlands
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops
  • Fallout: New Vegas
  • Shattered Horizon
  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
? :)

they could do a game that the vast majority of said users already own

free copies of HL2 for everyone... if you already have it you now have a gift that nobody you know will be able to use because they all have HL2

It was like this sale, or the July 4th sale. Except much longer.
