Hopefully they use games that are a little more interesting.

I agree. Hopefully they'll have some half-decent games on sale over the next 2 weeks though. I don't think I'm interested in the oens so far. Rune = meh. The poker game is basically for TF2 players. The third game is basically some kind of advanced tetris game.

Picked up chime. Its easier than tetris. Don't think I'll play it a lot, but i've got 2/4 thingies now.

This is obviously a thinly veiled attempt to drive up sales of games that probably wouldn't sell well otherwise. While I'd like to win 100 free games as much as anyone else, I'm not willing to spend money for more chances to win.
2010-12-06, 9:26 PM #10
Whatever they're doing work because I just bought the poker game.

meh, looks like it could be fun.
added some games to my wishlist for the heck of it, as who knows, i might manage to win.

Is it that all poker games are single player because the act of playing a game of poker online could be construed as online gambling? Because that's really dumb and I might not have bought this game if I knew I'd be playing against bots. I only feel dumb asking myself "I wonder if the computer is bluffing?" The witty banter is enjoyable the first time, but I just sort of assumed it'd have multiplayer so I could hand MZZTer his ass whenever I see him playing.

Plus it'd be really cool to gamble TF2 items.

AaAaAA!!! is pretty fun. Hard though.
The underground is weird. Sort of fun I guess. I wish I had seen that you can just play the demo.

Ok, I think I sent invites to the Massassi Group to everyone in this thread that requested one...

AAAaaaAAA is a game I fully endorse for $2.50.

It's pretty fun/addictive. It's also pretty hard, as previously stated. Sale on it ends tommorrow at 10 PST (ish), for those who are interested.

I just noticed you need to complete 10 objectives to get entered in the 100 games giveaway. I'm guessing that since there are only 7 set of objectives, there are only 7 objectives total that can be completed without buying anything. Lame.

The 2nd set had a challenge which could be done with a demo.

That's also assuming you don't own any games that they use. As long as they start using more... popular games, I'll probably get a few more from that, like I did New Vegas.

I've only got like... 66 games not counting betas on my Steam account >.>

I totally would have bought the Magic game, but then I found out they sell decks as "expansions," which is dumb and I refuse to pay for a game that may require extra purchases to remain competitive.

New Steam Sale. I have a proposition for any 1 person who wants shatter and hasn't bought it yet.

There's 2 treasure chest's I'm interested in for the next 2 days' sale:
1. Gift a gift to a friend
2. The "Shatter" achievement.

Who wants to buy Shatter as a gift and send it to me, and I'll do the same for them? Both achievements covered for $2.50 isntead of spending $5.00 apiece?

Warning: Shatter is so much harder than a normal breakout game.
