Old news. I've been using this as a pickup line for years.


I watched Jurassic park at work yesterday. I'm amazed the CGI hasn't dated it like everything else from that time. Even Dragon Heart has grown less convincing since the last time I saw it.

Though thinking that Eiffel 65's I'm Blue song is 11 years old makes me feel pretty old.

The only thing that really makes me feel old is seeing people younger than me own houses and have kids. Even that though.../shrug/.

That's interesting. I feel old for the inverse - people my age (or older, even) who are still single, with little to no responsibilities want to go out and do something and say "I can't, I have to go see my wife then go to bed. I have to work at 7am tomorrow." Then I feel really old thinking the highlights of my week are watching Justified on Wednesday night and The Big Bang Theory on Thursday night.

I understand what you mean, Steven. For me, it's mostly as a societal milestone. At my age (27), it's more common to be married and have a place of your own, so I feel like I'm young but in a false, irresponsible way. Granted, there's still plenty of people who aren't, and like I suggested in my shrugging, it's not something that plagues my mind like it does for most people when they feel old.
