Now maybe birthers will shoosh!

Incidentally and on a completely non-issue note.
Obamas long form says
Barack Hussein Obama II...
During the inauguration didn't they swear in
Barack Hussein Obama... Not the 2nd?
So didn't they technically swear in his dad?

I have no opinion on the matter. But if the president WASN'T born in the US. I have no doubt he could bully people into covering it up and falsifying records for him. I have no doubt it would be very simple for him to do.
2011-04-27, 11:43 AM #10
Yeah, guys. I would have preferred if this document hadn't been released, because I'd rather have an illegal president who wasn't born in this country than an illegal president who wasn't born in this country and falsified documents to "prove" otherwise. Despicable. It just goes to show how far the Elite are willing to go to bring about their New World Order under their new Tsar, Hussein Obama the Usurper.

PPPPS this is a joke.

Edit: I guess I should comment seriously. I can understand why they released it, and it certainly gives more ammo to those who discredit the conspiracy theories, but I agree that it doesn't really accomplish anything in the end. It's kind of too little too late, if there ever even was a point at which releasing it could have done any good.

Was a good move for the Democrats. If they hadn't released this, the whole issue would've repeated itself come around 2012. This just takes a piece of ammo away from Republicans come next election. Hell, the one thing the Democrats DO want is for Trump to somehow get big, so if Trump continues his "congratulate me, I made this happen" lines, they will let him. You don't think the Republicans are a bit ticked off that "one of their own" marginally hurt their election chances?

The people ("Birthers") that believe in this conspiracy wouldn't accept the truth even if they were able to travel in time back to the time & place of his birth. I emailed this to my father, a huge tea-party birther guy & can't wait to hear what he has to say about the matter. I can assure you that nothing will change his mind on the matter & I think that there are a lot of these people (more than most of you would imagine).

Well, I've had sometime to examine the document and at first glance the reasonable assumption is that Dan Rather didn't manufacture this in Word using a font that wasn't commonly used at the time. There are a few oddities though.

Funny you should mention that. There are some mysterious Xs over the twin and triplet boxes on the form. It's almost as if Obama has siblings, or a cover up of said siblings.

And if the original document was in a bound volume, as reflected by the curvature of the left hand side of the certificate, how can the green patterned background of the document's safety paper be so seamless?

Why, if Obama was born on August 4, 1961, was the “Date Accepted by Local Reg.” four days later on August 8, 1961?

There are suspicious smudges in the box containing the name of the reported attendant as well as ysterious numbers, seen vertically, on the document’s right side.

I've also learned that David A. Sinclair, the M.D. who purportedly signed the document, died nearly eight years ago at age 81. Conveniently unavailable to answer questions about Obama’s reported birth. Interesting that this document was withheld until his death.

Stole my thunder.

You may find this to be of interest.

Quote:
Historically, the terms “Date accepted by the State Registrar” and “Date filed by the State Registrar” referred to the date a record was received in a Department of Health office (on the island of Oahu or on the neighbor islands of Kauai, Hawaii, Maui, Molokai, or Lanai), and the date a file number was placed on a record (only done in the main office located on the island of Oahu) respectively.

Historically, most often the “date accepted” and the “date filed” is the same date as the majority of births occur on Oahu (the island with the largest population in our state). In the past, when births were recorded on paper they may have been accepted at a health office on a island other than Oahu, such as Kauai. The paper record would then need to be sent to Oahu to have a file number placed on it, and the filed date would then be sometime later (as you know, the state of Hawaii is comprised of multiple islands with miles of water in between). The electronic age has changed this process significantly, and it was determined some time ago that one date would suffice.

My daughter was born on 12/11/2010. The hospital held on to the paperwork until the end of the month before they submitted it to the state. We weren't even able to get a copy of her birth certificate, because of this, until March. I don't find it at all abnormal that the date of birth & the date accepted &/or filed would be different. I've been told by several hospital workers that this is actually quite common (for the hospitals to hold on to documents for a period of time before submitting them). One lady (a hospital worker) even told me that she always recommends that people don't file through the hospital because of the potential delay.

Okay, so let's see the long form birth certificate. Post it up. Anyone can make such statements but back them up with evidence. I'm curious what other discrepancies may exist.

According to tea-baggers, my daughter isn't a citizen of the U.S. because I don't have her long-form birth certificate. Those are no longer issued by default in my state. It's $10 just for the short version. I've been on the phone all week trying to get her long form version because the French Consulate requires it for her duel citizenship (if available).

My god, Wookie, you're not actually a birther, are you?

I disagree with conservatives on the majority of issues, but I can still respect them if they can discuss their positions intelligently. But I would be genuinely horrified if you actually bought into that nonsense A) because it's absolutely absurd, and B) because, with the state of the world today, that's what you're spending your energy worrying about?

If you're going to hate the man, use actual reasoning, not some trumped up, bogus, paranoid ramblings.

Congratulations! That didn't take too long. I suffixed it with "Think I still managed an adequate troll post" for a reason. I was going to post this reworded:

Quote:
Absolute Proof Obama's Birth Certificate is a Fake -- The birth certificate is a fraud and you can see for yourself in 30 seconds. But hurry, before they get wise. Download the PDF from the White House website. Open the PDF in Illustrator, not Photoshop. Click in the center of the image. Right-click on the center of the image and click Release Clipping Mask. Now look at the layers. You'll see the layers have been grouped but not flattened. That's a sloppy forgery. The background and the part on the left edge that make it appear to come out of a bound book is one layer. Some of the stamps are on the other layers. It's absolute proof it's a fake!

But that cat had already been let out of the bag.

The whole point of the "birther" movement was to stir up paranoia and scare people away from voting for him in the democrat primary. That's why Hillary started it, leaked the head-dress pictures, and, I'd bet, the smoking pictures. The only aspect of the birther movement I agreed with was the desire for the birth certificate to be released. Not because I seriously questioned his birth but because up until recently he was the one benefiting most from the issue. It wasn't until Trump essentially mainstreamed it that he started to suffer the most. I believe the groundwork for the release of the certificate was laid a few months ago when the governor of Hawaii suggested that they might not be able to produce a birth certificate. I think they were trolling for a mainstream, influential Republican or conservative to take the bait so they could disgrace them with a release. The best they got was Trump. Sort of a lose-lose for everybody except Charlie Sheen. And Trump.
